Red's fourth pig is a major protagonist in the AvM Shorts and a recurring character in the Actual Shorts miniseries.

He's another of the pigs Red spawned during the series, and unlike his predecessors, is a recurring character. He was spawned to find Blue, and then goes on to help its friends.

History[]

AvM Shorts - Season 3[]

The Piglin War[]

The Pig is a major protagonist.

When Blue goes missing, Red looks around the mess he made and spawns a pig to find him. The pig manages to sniff out where he went with just one bottle, and leads Red to a Nether portal. Green, Yellow and the Second Coming, who were just about to destroy the portal after the experience they had earlier on in the series, end up going through it to find their friend. Unknown to them, Blue went into the portal to find more nether warts, and ended up encountering a tribe of Piglins.

As the team goes through the Nether and its various biomes, they eventually encounter the Piglins that met Blue beforehand. Originally being aggressive, once they see the pig, the tribe stops and welcomes him - And after the pig shows he's friends with the stick figures, the Piglins become friendly to them too. After Red asks them where Blue went, they show him the way to a Nether fortress. Once they go inside, they see a drawing of nether warts, but no Blue in sight. In reality, he was deceived by a doppelganger of the Second Coming, and led to another Nether portal.

The Witch[]

The Pig is the tritagonist.

After noticing the Nether portal, the team goes inside it. There, they see Blue, and happily reunite with him. After confirming he has the nether wart he wanted, they are all happy to go home, but "Blue" stops Red at the last second. Afterwards, Yellow and Green go to check up on them, but they don't come back either. The Second Coming and the Pig decide to go in by themselves, and soon realise "Blue" isn't who he seems to be. They confront him in a battle, where he reveals himself to be a Witch, which then escapes with an invisibility potion. The two decide to find their friends, and they eventually succeed in doing so; However, they've been transformed into different mobs; Yellow into a llama, Red into a fish, and Green into a Zombie. However, it turns out "Green" was actually the Witch all along, and after a fight, teleports away while holding the pig hostage.

The pig is then imprisoned inside the Witch's house, where he reunites with Blue, who has been turned into a piston. Afterwards, the team confronts the Witch together. During this, Red breaks into her house, where they have a scuffle and drop a few potions on the ground. The pig uses this to his advantage, drinking all of the potions. Gaining numerous status, the pig attacks, and after a quick fight defeats the Witch. Having saved his friends and transformed them back into their stick figure forms, the team is ready to go back home. However, they encounter Purple, an old friend of the stick figures. He leads the team into a Nether portal, and despite the Second Coming's protests, they end up going through it.

Parkour[]

The Pig is a major protagonist.

Purple leads the team to his self-made parkour course, for a fun competition, while making sure nobody would get harmed during it. Eventually, during the final challenge, Purple takes the Pig and uses an elytra to fly out of the parkour zone, revealing it was set inside a simulation that was inside the Nether. Landing inside a Nether fortress, Purple has a Piglin Brute take the Pig away and imprison him. It's then revealed Purple was working for another stick figure known as King Orange, and that they trapped the Stick Gang inside an endless parkour loop.

At the end of the episode, Green is found and imprisoned by King Orange, and sits in a cell next to the pig.

The Ultimate Weapon[]

The Pig is the tritagonist.

After a few tries, Green is eventually able to break out of the prison, and takes the pig with him. The pig successfully sniffs out Blue and Yellow, who have been tricked by King Orange into joining him. Eventually, the two manage to break inside the room despite the king's efforts to keep them out. Green reveals the truth about about Purple and the king, but his friends are more focused about the fact they're reunited. King Orange, deciding to take matters into his own hands, uses his command block-powered staff to prepare the room for a fight and create three cages to imprison the stick inside. The pig hides while the sticks fight the king, eventually managing to defeat him and have him at Blue's mercy. At the same time, however, the Second Coming and Red were battling Purple back on their computer - And Purple managed to get his hands on the Minecraft Game Icon and escape into the Nether with it. With a previously unseen power, Purple makes Yellow, Blue and Green's weapons vanish from existence. After a moment, the same happens to the pig, while he can't do anything except slowly fade into nothingness. King Orange then uses the opportunity to take back his staff from Yellow and imprison the stick figures.

The King[]

The Pig is a minor protagonist.

At the end of the episode, the Second Coming brings back everyone that has been killed by the Minecraft Game Icon, including the pig. Shortly afterwards, the newly-redeemed King Orange gives his crown to Purple, who then proceeds to give it to the Pig. He returns with the Stick Gang go the computer afterwards.

Actual Shorts[]

The Pig is the deuteragonist of the episode "Fireworks", made to celebrate New Year 2023. Just like the Stick Gang, he's shown watching the fireworks, with Red giving him a carrot.

He later returns as the final antagonist of the episode "King Orange vs. The Dark Lord", where Red uses him to interrupt Green and Blue's pretend game.

He returns as one of the five deuteragonists (alongside Green, Yellow, Blue and the Second Coming) of the episode "Turtle Eggs", sniffing the eggs and starting to eat them, much to Red's anger.

He appears as one of the two main antagonists (alongside Red) of the episode "Pork", where he and Red are disgusted by the Second Coming eating pork and threaten to cook Green alive to make him stop.

In "Bob Is Always There", we briefly see the Pig alongside his family, which will only be introduced several episodes later, serving as both foreshadowing of future episodes and a hint to how long Bob was stuck in his pit.

In "Piggie Love", the Pig serves as the main protagonist. While on an adventure, he finds another pig and immediately falls in love. They start flirting, and the episode cuts to the two pigs marrying while the Stick Gang, Purple and some Villagers attend their wedding. While they originally kiss with everyone congratulating, they eventually get more intense, resulting in them mating and having a kid in front of everyone.

AvM Shorts - Season 4[]

Note Block Concert[]

The Pig makes a brief cameo alongside his family, revealing he has fathered three more children since "Piggie Love", laughing at the concert.

Trivia[]

  • Red spawning pigs that gain superpowers is something that happens once a season, this pig being the third and latest example. Despite this, he's the fourth pig to be spawned by Red, as he spawned his second pig during "Redstone Academy" that never gained superpowers.
  • The Pig being given a crown in the Season 3 finale is most likely a reference to the late YouTuber Technoblade.
  • The Pig's gender was ambiguous at first, although as of "Piggie Love" it's likely he's male given their more feminine partner.
