Thaddeus Ross Alias Red Hulk was one of the main enemies of Hulk turned his friend and one of the main protagonists of Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.
He is voiced by Clancy Brown who also voiced Mr. Krabs and the Incidentals in Spongebob Squarepants, King Frederic in Tangled, Black Bolt in Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. , Dr. Neo Cortex in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, Hades in God of War, Hank Anderson in Detroit: Become Human, Terrifi-Guy in Dan vs., Ryder Azadi in Star Wars: Rebels, Captain Black in Jackie Chan Adventures, Otto in Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go!, and Meacham in Cowboys & Aliens.
Personality[]
Towards his teammates, Red was known for being egomaniacal and often irritating mostly due to the fact that he normally takes charge over the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. despite it being the Hulk's team to begin with. Red is aggressive, demanding and monumentally bad-tempered, he can also be childish to the point where he he refused to speak to the Hulk and instead relayed his insults through A-Bomb, similar to two infants bickering with each other, and the root of this was that Hulk was causing him to lose sleep.
However Red is also disturbed by his past life as an army general, his ruthlessness in tracking the monster, the Hulk and in doing so, alienating himself from his only daughter, Betty Ross. Red is the most secretive of the group as well, as he normally doesn't share the details of his life before becoming the Red Hulk and his idea of creating the Abomination as an equal to destroy the Hulk.
He was quite paranoid as Ross such as creating an entire anti-Hulk arsenal and developing his own custom prison to contain the monster. Despite this he was horrified when it was revealed that Tony Stark had created five Hulkbusters to specifically kill each Hulk.
Red was probably the angriest member of the team (maybe second behind the actual Hulk) however he differs as he was an actual hot-head, whenever he got really annoyed, his body temperature would actually super-heat. Red was known for aggressiveness and violence whenever he was trying to express temper, such as pounding Iron Man's face into his console when he thought he employed his Hulkbusters on him and punching The Watcher when he couldn't help the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. defeat the Jump Jet.
