Rei Wakana, also known as Layer, is one of the supporting characters of the season 2 of BanG Dream! multimedia franchise. She is the second-year high school at the Geijutsu Academy's Musical Department. She is the vocalist and bassist of the band RAISE A SUILEN (nicknamed LAYER). She also has a childhood friend of Tae Hanazono.

She was voiced by Raychell in the Japanese version, and by Shelley Calene-Black in the English version.

Appearance

Rei is the teenager girl has a skin, a dark brown hair smooth with the reach into the top of her back has none fringe, and blue eyes with her bangs is covered by her ears. Personality

She is very mature and calm girl. During the mature attitude, Rei having a certain feeling to keep a tendency helping distance with her friends. She was the professional singer when she can anything sing a song, who is loving her song when she was a little.

She is the deep girl from the teenager, when she was a young, she does evening has anything when too young to be singing while "she didn't sound like the kid", when Tae starting to interacting at her while she able to come here with complex.

Etymology

Wakana (和奏): Wa (和) means "peace, harmony", and Kana (奏) means "to play music".

Rei (レイ): Her first name has no specific meaning due to being written in katakana.
