Reisa Uzawa (宇沢レイサ in Japanese) is one of the characters in the 2021 roleplay game Blue Archive who studies in Trinity General School and wields a Shotgun. She is a member of the Trinity Vigilante Crew, an unofficial club whose members are volunteers in upholding justice. Known by many names (all of them are likely self-proclaimed), Reisa ensures no delinquent in Trinity goes undefeated, except for one she can't seem to defeat for such a long time.
She first appeared briefly in the third chapter of the main story's third volume, "Eden Treaty", but only in the form of dialogue lines. Her character actually appeared in a side event named "A Tale of After-School Sweets Club", where Reisa confronted her long-missing nemesis, Kazusa Kyouyama, or as she calls her, "Cath Palug."
Personality[]
Reisa is a girl who's eager in upholding justice in Trinity. Her passion for subjugating delinquents dates back to even before she was in highschool. She would always charge in head first whenever she receives news of gangsters or enemies letting loose, and a lot of the times, she clears them easily before her club members can even arrive at the location. She leaves no delinquents unchallenged, and she always comes out victorious. Well, except for one...
Since middle school, there was always one person she couldn't defeat, a gangster who to her was truly vicious. Cath Palug, or more commonly known as Kazusa Kyouyama, was Reisa's ultimate rival before her sudden disappearance. Now that Kazusa's appeared, Reisa wanted to duel against her and emerge victorious, unknowing of the fact that side of Kazusa was long gone. Reisa held on to that past of Kazusa being her rival for quite some time, before she realized that Kazusa was indeed just an ordinary girl now. However, old habits die hard, and until today, she remains persistent in winning a duel against her.
Trivia[]
In a dev talk, one of the developers mentioned how Reisa's character reminded him of an old friend when writing her character. He thought of a person that can be a bit of a burden when appearing on to the scene, which was kind of a nostalgia for him.[1]
Reisa's illustrator mentioned that every single detail in Reisa's design, whether it be a badge or a doll, holds a special meaning for Reisa herself.[2]
The illustrator also mentioned that Reisa originally had hair with different lengths on either side to capture her immature personality, but after seeing a lot of players who have read Reisa's story and viewed her fanarts realize how "It was an even more pitiful representation" than the players originally thought, he fixed the illustration's mismatched hair.
Early versions of Reisa also actually presented Reisa to be a tall person before the illustrator made a bold decision to make her smaller.
