Reno is a supporting protagonist in The Misfit of Demon King Academy.

She was voiced by Kana Asumi in Japanese and Kira Buckland in English.

Appearance[]

Reno resembles a woman with wings that look like crystals, pale skin, amber eyes with heart-shaped pupils, long green curled hair, long elf-like ears, and an ample bosom. She dons a white choker, and a white dress whose neckline plummets beneath her shoulders and is adorned with a green stripe across its lower half.

Biography[]

2000 years ago, Reno made her decision to visit Deruzogedo in hopes of putting an end to the fighting when she visits Demon King Anos who never had any intentions of killing her, smiling at the fairies who were concerned. As she was preparing to do, she was confronted by Nousgalia, the heavenly father god, who has come to give her a great story, but Reno was wary of him. Nousgalia offered to have her birth a future god, but Reno refutes this as she did not consider this a time for children.

Nousgalia did not take no for an answer and warns Reno not to defy her. Suddenly the trees impaled him with their branches like a pincushion. Reno demands the god to leave as she found him devoid of courtesy. However, Nousaglia recovers from the wounds and made the trees restrain Reno who cast the spell that made the trees attack. Nousgalia then was going to have Reno birth the child when Anos arrives and puts a stop to this by casting a curse that disrupts its target's power and pose a threat to their life.

In response, Nousgalia vows that Anos will die and Reno will birth a god's child when his throat tears open thanks to Shin Reglia cutting it open with his sword Gilionojes. Anos finishes the god off by causing his body to rot and fade to nothingness. Reno, now believing in Anos, Reno explained that she intended to come as soon as she could. Anos then assigned Shin to be Reno's bodyguard until she is back at Ahartherun as she cannot teleport, and another god will come after her.

When Reno said she did not need an escort, Shin offers to give her his sword as he could not fulfill his master's request, but Reno refused as she was not willing to kill him and stops him from killing himself. She then proceeded to let him escort her.

As Anos and his classmates visited Aharterun in search of Shin, they come across Rina and noticed that her resemblance to Reno, but they were not so sure as Reno died 2000 years ago. However, the fairies realize Misa was Reno's daughter, but as per command of the spirit king, they cannot explain who her father is. 2000 years later, Nousgalia revived following the defeat of Avos, now seeking to arrogantly enforce his kind of order.
