The resistance is a faction from the 2014 Strider game. Its apparent inspiration was the Rebel Army from the original manga.

History

The leader of the resistance was introduced making an announcement to the “True citizens” that they must be vigilant and they will be rewarded and that the time of their return to Kazakh is at hand.

Initially believing Hiryu to be an enemy, he ordered everyone to remain calm while the defenses protected them.

Hiryu, nonetheless managed to defend himself as he traversed the area, leading to the leader realizing Hiryu was more than he seems and that he is not affiliated with Meio.

Hiryu was finally able to reach the leader, the Black Marketeer, who recruits Hiryu for the resistance’s cause.
