Ria is an Imperial native to the providence of Skyrim and the newest member of the Companions in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Like the other members, she resides in Jorrvaskr in Whiterun. She is voiced by Colleen Delany, whom also voices Lydia.
Personality[]
She tends to be one of the more amiable and optimistic members. Never scolding the Dragonborn (although she will occasionally argue with other members) and seeming to be one of the more welcoming members to him/her. She does take pride in her hunting, mentioning what the last thing she killed in the wild was (usually a bear), before asking the Dragonborn about what their last kill was.
Role[]
Ria is first encountered at a farm outside of Whiterun fighting a giant alongside Farkas and Aela the Huntress. After finishing the battle, she encourages the Dragonborn to come to Jorrvaskr and join the Companions.
When the Dovahkiin speaks to her within Jorrvaskr, she will mention that she was the newest member, that is until the Dragonborn came along.
She plays little role in the Companions' quest line, only seen mourning the death of Kodlak Whitemane and attending his memorial service. However, after the quest line is completed, she will be recruitable as a follower as well as a candidate of marriage.
She can also occasionally be found in the wilderness of Skyrim hunting wildlife, always alongside her mentor Vilkas.
