Ric Olié

Ric Olié was a pilot of the Naboo forces in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. His talents as pilot made

him to be commander of the starfighters and the Queen of Naboo's personal pilot.

When the Trade Federation attacked Naboo, the Queen, Panaka, Ric and his pilots were captured. Two Jedi Knights, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi came and destroyed the battle droids. They use a Naboo starfighter to escape to Coruscant. They fought against the Trade Federation blockade and had some damage on the ship. They made a stop in Tatooine after their hyperdrive was crippled. They plan on buying parts in the town to repair the drive. The crew manage to get the parts needed for repairs and brought along a former slave, Anakin Skywalker.

Ric taught Anakin meger lessons on how to pilot a starship after meeting him. The Queen and her comrades arrived in Coruscant and tried to plead with the Galactic Senate to help overthrow the Trade Federation. After the Galactic Senate refused to help, the Queen returned to Naboo with her royal guards and the two Jedi Knights to retake Naboo.

Ric led the starfighters to destroy the Droid Control Ship and the Federation's droid ships. When they were about to lose, Anakin Skywalker flew a starfighter into the Droid Control Ship and destroyed it, shutting off the battle droids in Naboo. Ric and his forces return to Naboo to celebrate.
