Riku is a major character in Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon. He is the young mysterious Shikabaneya, with demon business bounty-hunting by Jyūbei, and the corpse dealer. As the series progresses, he eventually becomes the love interest for the main heroine Towa Higurashi.
He was voiced by Jun Fukuyama in the Japanese version, and by Zach Aguilar in the English version.
Appearance[]
He has a short auburn hair, slightly skin and green eyes. He wears a blue, dark blue and white traditional man's Kimono. Over all, he wears a light green jacket with the red and black on his shoulders and light blue long bows. He has a light gray pants with the black leggings, white socks and yellow straw sandals. - Riku was originally linked to Kirinmaru's own life, meaning they would die together. However, after Riku takes a fatal blow from Osamu Kirin meant for Towa, he reverts back to the horn Kirirmaru lost. After Towa briefly allowed Rion to use her as a vessel, the lingering link allowed both Rion and Kirinmaru to give their life energy to Riku to allow him a second chance of life without being linked to them.
