Rile is a character from the Bionic Commando game boy game. While he seemed like an antagonist at first, he is really someone trying to find a soldier strong enough to save the world.

Appearance[]

Rile has light-colored hair and dons a cape he tosses aside before each fight.

Powers and Skills[]

In his first two fights, Rile wields a gun that fires in three directions.

In his last fight, he takes on two phases. The first phase has him fight in a humanoid form where he can launch missiles, zoom around, and jump. His second phase gives him the ability to take on a jet-like form to fire lasers and fire projectiles in multiple directions.

Biography[]

Rile is first heard calling Super Joe, whom he kidnaps, a good fighter when Rad wiretaps a communication. Rad is later informed that Rile will cross paths with him in Area 8 while fighting in Area 7. This eventually comes to pass after Joe was moved somewhere else before Rad could save him. Before the first confrontation, a Doraize soldier warns Rile to look out for FF soldiers. Rile just assures him that they were just kids.

When Rad gets to him, Wiseman was paying a visit to him until Rile tells him to retreat. Before fighting, Rile tells Rad that he will see if he did better than Joe had. However, Rad manages to win out in the fight. Later in Area 13, Rad fights him again in order to free a captive Joe.

However, Rile was revived thanks to a machine and fights Rad one last time on the Albatross. Even with his greater strength, Rile still loses. However, he congratulates Rad and revealed that the floating fortress is just a portion of the Albatross plan and the secret of the albatross is a weapon that can destroy the world. Rile also reveals he was a former bionic commando who heard of the Albatross and became a Doraize soldier to investigate.

Rile had been waiting for a true soldier to arrive and destroy the Albatross in order to save the world.
