Rin, also known as Qatherine Fullbody, is a new love interest for Vincent Brooks from Atlus's Catherine: Full Body, the remastered version of Catherine.
He is voiced by Aya Hirano in Japanese and Brianna Knickerbocker in English.
Biography[]
Rin was running from a mysterious giant creature and accidentally bumps into Vincent who was going home. Vincent then decides to help the girl and convinces Erica to let Rin work at the Stray Sheep as a pianist after she and Rin leave out the hospital. As soon as Rin becomes a pianist, Vincent's friends find her cute and wonder if the girl really lost her memory. Rin plays the piano, but something strange happens like as if it had a rather calming effect for the others. Furthermore, she lives next to Vincent in an apartment and visits him in his pajamas, which were given to Rin by Erica. During the Nightmares, it is revealed that Rin's piano playing saved the lives of many men in the Nightmares.
While she is about to play the piano, a drunken and sexist client is angry at her just for playing the piano which makes Vincent stand up for Rin. When Rin performs the piano, everyone applauds the performance. Later, she appears in Vincent's nightmares to help him escape. Later when Vincent sees some smoke from Rin's apartment he goes there to see if she is alright only to discover that Rin is actually a "He." Rin tries to reach out to Vincent to calm him but is slapped in the face, leaving him heartbroken.
Rin receives a call from Vincent after being berated by Erica. He apologizes to Rin and he accepts his apology with Vincent telling him that it's okay, that it doesn't change his feelings toward him since he accepts him for who he is. He wanted to know if he would come back but Rin told him that he prefer to not return to the Stray Sheep as he would be hurt if he sees him again after his rejection since he also have feeling for him. Of course, his friends can't believe what happen. Depending on the player choice, can choose if he can have a future with Rin or with Catherine the succubus that was his lover or his girlfriend Katherine if Vincent decides to be with Rin, he will break up with Catherine who pretend to take it well and will ask Boss to take care of it. Should Vincent choose to go with Rin, his story will continue.
Vincent, who heard the piano, believes Rin finally came back only to discover his blood-stained corpse lying dead on the piano. Catherine later appears with a chainsaw and says she will murder Rin. Vincent run to his apartment only to find Katherine who also wants to kill him for abandoning her, after Catherine finally kill the illusion of Katherine and was about to kill Vincent the real Rin came to save him and both of them get in the nightmare again but when they finally beat Catherine just before they can get out Rin is kidnapped by Catherine who take him to boss much to Vincent's dismay.
Later, both Rin and Vincent fight Catherine and confess their love. Boss is angry at this outcome but has no choice to let them go, of course Rin will tell Vincent that he will convince Big Brother to let him be human to live with him. However, Big Brother appears and is angry at him for choosing to live with Vincent. He also wants him to take Rin home, but he and Vincent reject Big Brother's offer. He later accept Vincent's challenge to let his brother live with him if he can escape the nightmare. After Big Brother is defeated, Rin explain that they are actually aliens from another planet and that they are worshipped as angels as they explain Rin miracles playing the piano which Vincent and Rin will get their live by going on a music tour across another galaxy. The two of them are married and living happy together.
