Rin Vispose is one of the female protagonists of Our Last Crusade or the Rise of the New World. She is also one of the co-tritagonists (alongside Jhin Syulargun and Sisbell Lou Nebulis IX) and an anti-heroine of the series.
Her voice actress are Yumiri Hanamori in Subbed and Hayden Daviau who are both voice actresses of Ai Hayasaka.
Overview[]
She is the maid and bodyguard of the leading female protagonist, Aliceliese Lou Nebulis IX. She originally start out as Iska's enemy, but became allies after saving her life from Salinger (the criminal who attacked the previous queen) and later helping Iska of protecting the youngest princess of the Nebulis Sovereignty, Sisbell Lou Nebulis IX when she and her sister, Alice were falsely accused as traitors by someone. After Sisbell was kidnapped and taken to the Heavenly Empire for experiments by the Hydra Family, Rin, Iska and the Unit 907 went on a mission to rescue the third princess where Kervina died. After rescuing Sisbell, Rin was captured by Risya for the Heavenly Empire's emperor Yunmelngen's persuasion of bringing Sisbell to the emperor just for her power of revealing the truth 100 years truth. When Sisbell unveiled the 100th year truth in the request of Emperor Yunmelngen, she found out the Astral Mages has been framed for the assault on the previous emperor with false details by the Eight Great Apostles (who were the series' main antagonist faction that were killed by Elletear Lou Nebulis IX, due to their betrayal against her).
Personality[]
Rin is devoted to Alice and willing to make her dreams into a reality. However, she is also arrogant and cruel upon her enemies originally towards Iska when she once believed he would be a threat from Alice's ascend to become the future queen. She is a dirty trickster when she placed a drug in Iska's drink and taken him to the Nebulis Sovereignty as a prisoner despite Alice's warning to not violent the rule of the Neutral City.
Outside her immensely loyalty towards Alice, she is also loyal and respectful towards almost all of the Lou Family (except for Elletear who revealed by Rin as the traitor after she linked Sisbell's location to both Lord Mask and the Eight Great Apostles). She is also immensely loyal towards Queen Mirabea (although she intend to keep Alice's desires a secret due to her loyalty for Alice) and willing to execute missions. She is also respectful towards the youngest princess, Sisbell Lou Nebulis IX (though they didn't interact much) and intend to protect her from those who are pursuing her after she was falsely accused as a traitor due to Elletear's false information by framing Sisbell and Alice as traitors of their supposedly ties within the Heavenly Empire. Rin initially had respects for Elletear and seemingly worried for the first princess' supposedly death. This was until learning Elletear is alive and a traitor, Rin has lost her respects for the eldest princess and became her enemy. Despite this however, Rin is loyal towards the royal family's good name when she is against the methods of killing a member from the royal bloodline as she scolded the Zoa Family's princess, Kissing Zoa Nebulis IX for bringing shame upon the Nebulis' royal family due to Kissing's desire to kill Elletear and attempted persistence of wanting Iska to kill Elletear which he refused.
She takes crimes and betrayals very seriously when she is willing to justify criminals and traitors of their discriminations and treacheries. She intended to take down Salinger the notorious criminal who attacked the previous queen and stolen other Astral Powers which she considered to be theft and deemed Salinger unworthy of calling himself "king" due to his delusional ideals that she thought of it to be insane. Unlike the other members of the Lou Family whom she respected like Alice, Sisbell and Queen Mirabea, Rin doesn't seem to hold respect or loyalty towards Elletear when she suspected that the eldest princess is a traitor after she linked Sisbell's location towards both Lord Mask and the Eight Great Apostles which puts Sisbell's life in danger as a result of Elletear's treason until during the chaos in the Heavenly Empire, Rin's suspicion of Elletear being a traitor turned out to be true when she revealed to be alive and tormenting Alice's emotions. Unlike Lord Mask who has no tolerance for traitors, Rin doesn't considered Sisbell to be a traitor when knowing she has been falsely accused as a traitor by Elletear's manipulation and fake information that she'd given to Lord Mask.
Rin is somewhat intelligent when she suspected that Elletear is the traitor after leaked Sisbell's locations towards both Lord Mask and the Eight Great Apostles until during the chaos in the Heavenly Empire, her suspicious has turned out to be true when Elletear was indeed the traitor who committed crimes upon the Nebulis Sovereignty causing Rin to lose all respects for the former first princess.
After Iska saved her life from Salinger, Rin became a bit honorable when she helps Iska of taking down Salinger. While Alice and Sisbell were both falsely accused as traitors by the true traitor, Rin is willing to help Iska and the 907th unit to protect Sisbell from her pursuers. After Iska helped her to defeating Vichyssoise, Rin advised him to take his team and Sisbell to the train in order to escape from Sisbell's pursuers (the Hydra Family) before she and Alice contacts the Nebulis' military police force to arrest the Vichyssoise for her failed assassination attempt on Sisbell. After Sisbell was kidnapped, Rin is willing to help Iska and his team to infiltrate the Elsa's Coffin of foiling Kervina's plans and successfully rescue Sisbell. She is against a method to kill a member of the Nebulis' royal bloodline because it will bring shame upon the royal family's name as she is against Kissing Zoa Nebulis IX's intention to kill Elletear.

Alice is Rin's master and close friend. Rin deeply admired Alice and wanted her dreams into reality. Unlike Rin, Alice doesn't like Rin's ideas to take Iska as prisoner when she drugged his drink. When Alice was driven by her jealousy towards her sister, Sisbell holding hands with Iska and eaten a piece of smoothie cream from his cheek, Rin manage to retained her master's emotions. When Sisbell was captured by the Hydra Family to be use for Kervina Sofita Hermos' experiments, Alice sent Rin to rescue her little sister.

Though they don't interact much, Rin still shown her respects for Sisbell as a royal princess and Alice's younger sister. She is more than willing to protect the youngest princess including that she was falsely accused as a traitor. When Sisbell was kidnapped by the Hydra Family for Kervina's experiments, Rin intend to rescue Sisbell including helping Iska and his team to foil Kervina's plans, resulting of the traitorous imperial scientist's death. Initially, Rin and Alice were intending to take Sisbell back home to the Nebulis Sovereignty after acquired all the evidences of both the Hydra Family and Elletear's betrayals, but decided to stay at the Heavenly Empire to take down Elletear together when Sisbell accepted Emperor Yunmelngen's offering causing both Rin and Alice to agree too.
Originally, Rin considered Iska as her enemy and a threat of Alice's ascend to become the next queen. She drugged and captured him to bring him to the Nebulis Sovereignty as a prisoner which Alice detested this decision. Until when he saving her life from Salinger the Transcendent (who attacked the previous queen), Rin let Iska go and shown a warm smile. In the Liesbaden, she is intend to help Iska of protecting Sisbell (who was falsely accused as a traitor). After Sisbell was captured by the Hydra Family, Rin intended to help Iska and his team to infiltrate the Elsa's Coffin, successfully rescued Sisbell and foiled Kervina's schemes, resulting of the death of the traitorous imperial scientist. When Rin was captured by Risya, Iska, Sisbell and the 907th unit headed towards the capital to rescue Rin under the persuasion of Emperor Yunmelngen for Sisbell's astral power.

Rin was once loyal towards Elletear. However, Rin suspected Elletear to be the traitor when Sisbell was leaked to both Lord Mask and the Eight Great Apostles. She seemed worried of Elletear's falsely death. During the chaos in the Heavenly Empire however, Rin's suspicious of Elletear's treachery turned out to be truth. Due to Elletear's betrayal towards the Sovereignty and endangering Sisbell, Rin lost all her loyalty towards the former first princess and became enemies for her betrayal. However, Rin won't kill Elletear when intend to defeat the former eldest princess and bring her back home because killing a member of the royal bloodline will bring nothing but shame the royal family's good name. Rin accompany Iska, Alice, Sisbell, Kissing, Risya and May to defeat Elletear and destroy the Great Star Disaster even if it means she will lose her powers once the Star Disaster is destroyed.
While rescuing Sisbell, Rin became enemies with Dr. Kervina Sofita Hermos (who is a traitorous imperial scientist that experiments people (including purebred Astral Mages as well the weak ones), turning them into monstrous Astral Mages). When Kervina was about to use Sisbell as a guinea pig for her experiments (similar to Elletear), Rin, Iska and the 907th unit infiltrated Elsa's Coffin of foiling Kervina's plot and successfully rescuing Sisbell, leading Kervina's death.

Due to his assault at the previous queen, Rin considered Salinger as a traitor who is unworthy of calling himself a king. She considered of his "collections" of Astral Powers from the Nebulis Royal Family to be theft. Even when she is defeated by him, she shown angrily glare towards the Transcendent. She eventually called his delusional ideals of having followers by merging humans and Astral Spirits to be insane.
Abilities and Powers[]
Earth Astral Power: Rin possessed a powerful astral power that control the earth element. She can create a giant golem from the nature itself.
Knife Prowess: Rin has a very talent of knife prowess. However, it paled when she attempted to kill Iska even when she drugged him.
Intelligence: Rin is also somewhat intelligent. She suspected that Elletear is the traitor who leaked Sisbell's location to both the Eight Great Apostles and Lord Mask until during the chaos of the Heavenly Empire in Volume 12, her suspicious has turned out to be true.
