The Ringmaster (SteamWorld) is a minor character in the SteamWorld series.

SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech

The Ringmaster was originally a Druid, however he later decided to creat an areana in the Cursed City for anyone to compete in and to give the residents a show. Once he asked Archdruid Bob IV for a Dragon for the show.

The Ringmaster later saw the Fellowship and heard that they murdered the Dragon he was promised and so asked Galleo to dress up like a dragon, only to later ask all of them to compete in his areana in exchange for information. After the show he was impressed and so gave the Fellowship the infomation that Bob has the Necronomicon.

The Ringmaster was later visited by the Fellowship once again, where he would offer them to fight against their various foes for prizes.

It is unknown what happened to the Ringmaster after the defeat of the Behemoth, although it can be assumed that he may have continued to run his areana battles.

  • The Ringmaster is so far one of the only three heroic druids with Tarah & Thayne also having Druid powers.
  • The Ringmaster, along with Wonky, Mysterious Merchant and Gilgamech are the only non-playale protagonists in the SteamWorld series.
  • It should be noted that the Ringmaster dresses as a roman soldier.
