Ristarte, known originally as Princess Tiana, is the deuteragonist and main heroine of the 2017 Japanese fantasy comedy light novel series Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious, as well as its anime television series & manga adaptations of the same name. She also has a cameo appearance in Isekai Quartet, a 2019 comedy crossover anime television series that features characters from several properties of the "Isekai" genre.
Originally born as Tiana, a princess, the girl who would become Ristarte met and fell in love with a reckless adventurer named Seiya Ryuuguuin who originated from another world. Seiya and Tiana started a relationship and eventually conceived a child. However, tragedy eventually struck the young couple, as the Princess and the Hero were both killed by a Demon Lord before the birth of their child. Whereas Seiya was returned to his homeworld, Tiana was reincarnated as a Goddess of the divine realm known as Ristarte. Both of them also lost their memories of their time together.
Over a hundred years later, Ristarte was given the responsibility of freeing another world from a Demon Lord. The Hero selected for the task was none other than Seiya, who had instinctively adopted an overly cautious attitude as a result of the tragedy his recklessness had cost him in the past. Ristarte was instantly taken with Seiya once again, however this time the feelings weren't reciprocated immediately. Nevertheless, the Goddess Ristarte and the Hero Seiya Ryuuguuin ventured into a new land in the hopes of annihilating the Demon Lord that infested it.
In all media, Ristarte is voiced by Aki Toyosaki in Japanese and by Jaime Marchi in English dubbing. Marchi's other heroic roles include Mount Lady in My Hero Academia, Rias Gremory in High School DxD, and Mikako Satsukitane in Heaven's Lost Property.
