Rito Hotokawa is an original character created for the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: ISEKAI Chronicles who is an Otherworlder friend of Kataki who joined the Jurea-Tempest Federation to train and grow stronger.

He was originally an Otherworlder who ended up in the Central World randomly where he was found and befriended Kataki. He alongside Cait, Carr, and Gray would help his friend try to defeat Rimuru Tempest despite shoving no grudges towards him but all of them would loose to the slime. However later on he was concerned his friend’s obsession for revenge would consume him and loose himself so Rito with Cait, Carr, and Gray came to Rimuru Tempest for help to stop him. Though Kataki evolved to an Astral Goblin but lets go of his after being defeated once last time by Rimuru. However Rito choice to say behind to train stronger so he can become a spiritual lifeform like Kataki to earn his respect.
Rito would help in the Charybdis incident helping everyone take on the Ruler of the Skies.
Trivia[]
- Rito named Cait, Carr and Gray but given he suffered no fatigue he likely equal named them which causes little to no energy loss.
- Given Rito wasn't summoned and said to end up randomly in the Central World he was an Stray Otherworlder.
