River Ward is a minor supporting character in the 2020 science fiction game Cyberpunk 2077. He is a former private detective who wants to find his nephew Randy Kutcher, having been kidnapped by a serial kidnapper known as Peter Pan. He along with Judy Álvarez are the optional love interest for the female V.
He is voiced by Robbie Daymond, who also voiced Goro Akechi in Persona 5, Prince Leo in Barbie: Starlight Adventure, Mamoru Chiba/Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon, Joe Kido from Digimon Adventure tri. & Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, Spider-Man from Marvel's Spider-Man, Toneri Ōtsutsuki and Mitsuki from the Naruto franchise, Lenka Utsugi in the God Eater anime, and Naltuk in Horizon Zero Dawn.
Biography[]
River Ward and his sister Joss were born on a small farm and spent most of their time there. However, their family farm went into decline and was then taken over by major corporations, so his family now runs a grocery store. Like on a small farm, it didn't end well because drug addicted criminals raided the store threatening his father if he didn't give the money back, he would die. However, his disobedience cost him his life and they then blackmailed River into shooting his mother, traumatizing him.
