
Rob Hilliard is one of the main protagonists of the 2010 comedy movie Grown Ups.
He is portrayed by Rob Schneider, who also portrayed Deuce Bigalow from the Deuce Bigalow films series, Gus Matthews in the Benchwarmers, Norm in Norm of the North, and Marvin Mange in The Animal.
He and his friend Lenny Feder, Eric Lamonsoff, Marcus Higgins, and Kurt McKenzie are high school basket ball students who get reunited after 32 years experiencing mishaps from each others families.
Biography[]
In 1978, Rob and his childhood friends Lenny Feder, Eric Lamonsoff, Kurt McKenzie, and Marcus Higgins won their basketball championship in junior high. Afterwards, celebrated at a rented lake house. Coach Buzzer encourages the friends to live life just the way how they played the game. Thirty years later he became a priest and was divorced 3 times and holds custody of his daughters Jasmine, Amber, and Bridget. He is currently married to an much older woman named Gloria.
After Rob and the gang found out their old coach has died, They attend a private funeral in their home town along with their wives and kids. For the 4th of July weekend Lenny rents a lake house to pay tribute to coach Buzzer's death. The next day, Buzzer's ashes are spread in the woods while Rob has a confidence crisis, regretting his failed marriages, and later warns the arrival of his three daughters from the previous marriages. After Lenny, Eric, Kurt, and Marcus were watching Jasmine fixing her car, The others attempt to cheer him up with a game of arrow roulette. Rob wins by staying still in the circle for the longest before the arrow lands straight down to the ground and goes right through his foot. While at the Waterpark with his family and friends, Rob pushes a ride attendant down a water slide after he insults Bridget for being less attractive than her sisters and calls her ugly.
On their final day at the lake house, Lenny accepts the rematch, and plays against their former opponents. Lenny misses the shot on purpose for Dickie have a proper win.
