History[]

Past[]

Tim Drake saw the performance in which Dick Grayson's family was murdered, which was the first time he met Robin. Eventually, Drake put the pieces together, finally realizing that Batman was Bruce Wayne and Robin was Dick Grayson. After Jason Todd's (the second Robin) supposed death, Tim contacted Dick, who informed him of Batman's requirement to have a Robin to keep his sanity. After Nightwing and Batman were captured by Two-Face, Tim donned the Robin suit and saved the duo. Bruce, impressed, required Tim to go through training to prove he was ready to become his next sidekick. A few months later, Tim finally became the Dark Knight's third Boy Wonder.

A Matter of Family[]

Batgirl is invited by the Joker to rescue Jim Gordon from an abandoned and incomplete Seagate Amusement Park. She is accompanied by Robin. Joker tries to prove that they are weaknesses to Batman, and attempts to kill them repeatedly as to "free" Batman from them.

After freeing multiple hostages and disarming bombs, Batgirl and Robin locate Jim Gordon's cage; they are faced by Joker, Harley Quinn, and a cadre of henchmen. Eventually, they defeat the criminals, however, before they can apprehend Joker, her threatens to shoot Harley, allowing the delay for him to escape, which Harley cheers.

Gordon thanks the heroes, albeit Batgirl tries to avoid eye-contact with her father, not wanting to reveal her identity to him. Batgirl is fatigued by the Clown's escape, but Robin encourages her that together they will catch him, noting that robins are good luck.

Arkham City[]

During the events of Arkham City, after Batman planted a tracking device on one of the League of Assassins members and being outnumbered by them, Robin shows up to save him, hitting the assassins with his staff. Batman orders Robin to return to Gotham City where he must get his blood sample to a Hospital. He's also heard through Batman's earpiece later, explaining that they are at least 30 people suffering from the effects of Batman's and Joker's poisoned blood, putting all of Gotham in danger of exposure to the toxin.

Challenge Maps[]

A bonus combat and predator as well as one campaign is unlocked with Robin involving Black Mask. In the Campaign, Robin or another character will have the objectives of chasing down Black Mask as well as take down his thugs alongside Mr. Hammer aboard a train.

Harley Quinn's Revenge[]

I'll find him...
~ Robin to Oracle

Robin returns to Arkham City, 2 weeks since Joker's death, when Oracle summons him after the mysterious disappearance of Batman since re-entering the site to apprehend Harley Quinn who has managed to gain control of the Sionis Industries Steel Mill. Inside Robin finds Batman's utility belt and a recording that shows Batman being captured by Quinn and taken to a section of the shipyard where she built a shrine to Joker. Robin finds Batman imprisoned in a booby-trapped cage that requires a TYGER keycard to access it.

Robin finds Harley at the shipyard loading bay with a group of Police Officers taken hostage. After saving the hostages and subduing Quinn, Robin frees Batman who tells him to go free the remaining officers while Batman goes to stop Quinn's Bombs. Unfortunately, Batman was uncapable of deactivating one bomb and barely escapes with Quinn alive. Afterwards, Harley attempts to kill Batman with a Knife from behind but this is prevented when Robin stops her by throwing his Shuriken at her, knocking her out. Batman then inquires about the conditions of the hostage officers. Robin reveals he managed to save them from the explosion. As Batman leaves, Commissioner James Gordon asks Robin if he'll be okay which Robin replies, saying he'll be fine.

Arkham Knight[]

Nine months after Joker's death and the shutdown of Arkham City, Scarecrow launches a massive assault on Gotham and Batman heads out to stop Scarecrow and a mysterious figure known only as the the Arkham Knight. Robin wants to help Batman, but is denied and needs to work on a cure. The cure is for four people who were infected by Joker's blood when they were in the hospital.

Harley Quinn, thrilled upon learning of four people infected by the essence of Joker, leads her gang into Panessa Movie Studios, a defunct business retrofitted by Batman to be city-side headquarters, as well as prison and hospital to treat the Jokers. Three of the Jokers escape to different wings of the Studios, while the fourth patient, Henry Adams, was left behind in the main hub due to appearing asymptomatic.

Batman and Robin gradually takedown Harley's gang, while pursuing the infected. They apprehend Christina Bell first, who shows the most hatred towards Robin, since she manifests the Joker's obsession with Batman, yet twisted into a deranged affection. She is returned to her cell. Batman and Robin then defeat and capture either Albert King, Joker's violence, or Johnny Charisma, Joker's showmanship; whomever is last, the Dynamic Duo are intercepted by the remainder of Harley's gang and Harley herself. The gang and widowed Clown Princess are defeated, with her and the last infected escorted back to the main hub. Upon lights activating in the cells, it reveals the two captured infected had been killed, thus revealing that Henry Adams was not asymptomatic, rather he hid it because he embodied Joker's cunning, and he was the one that gave Harley access to Panessa. Harley is distressed by the two dead Jokers, becoming worse when Henry executed the recently arrived remaining infected, which he declared as "purifying the gene pool." However, she remains obedient, thus is close enough for Henry to threaten into coaxing Batman's surrender. Yet when Henry notices that Batman is also infected by the Joker, he realises that Batman would be the superior specimen, thus pays compliment then commits suicide.

Robin locks Harley in one of the now unoccupied cells; he encourages Batman to lock himself up due to the danger of his Joker infection. During the navigation of the Studios, the Joker imprint had been replaying his real version's capture and torture of second Robin, Jason Todd; upon showing Batman an illusion of himself agreeing to be confined, then the Joker imprint then replayed the execution of Jason Todd. Thus, his paranoia provoked, Batman instead locks Robin in a cell; Robin rages against him, but Batman tries to assure him it is for his own protection.

Scarecrow seemingly drugs Barbara Gordon with fear toxin, driving her to be so overwhelmed by fear that she commits suicide; Batman confesses this to Robin, which causes him to break down in despair, both from loss of an ally and his girlfriend.

After Arkham Knight's defeat, Batman and Gordon confront Scarecrow on top of an under-construction skyscraper; Batman learns that Barbara is still alive, with her death being an hallucination from fear toxin. Trapped between Scarecrow's men, Gordon opts to shoot Batman; however, this angered Scarecrow, as he wanted Batman alive to suffer, thus in retaliation, he drops Barbara from the building. Batman catches her mid-fall, decelerating the decline with his cape; he reveals Gordon knew by shooting Batman's chest-plate, he'd survive. Scarecrow's forces regroup, now with Gordon as prisoner.

After he leaves Barbara in the safety of GCPD, Batman returns to Panessa, revealing to Robin that Barbara is alive, causing him to fall to his knees in emotional release. However, still influenced by fear, Batman leaves Robin in the cell still, although Robin was too relieved by news of Barbara's survival to protest again.

Scarecrow's army drones assault GCPD, which Batman, with his weaponised Batmobile, is able to destroy, while Barbara aids by hacking into the tanks to turn on the others or self-destruct. During the onslaught, Scarecrow is able breach Panessa Movie Studios, kidnapping Robin, while leaving a mocking parody of the Batman symbol as a taunt.

Robin is taken with Gordon to Arkham Mansion; threatening their lives, Batman surrenders his equipment and is restrained to be escorted to them. With a video camera broadcasting the footage, Scarecrow orders Gordon to unmask Batman, which he refuses, causing Scarecrow to non-fatally shoot the tied up Robin. Reluctantly, Gordon removes the cowl, revealing Bruce Wayne to the world.

After numerous injections of the fear toxin, Bruce is able to finally overcome the Joker imprint, banishing it into the darkest recesses of his mind. Thanks to Jason Todd, now reborn as Red Hood, Bruce breaks from his binds, then doses Scarecrow with his own heightened fear toxin, driving the madman into screaming fit, until knocked out by Gordon.

After Bruce's faked death and disappearance, Tim had recovered completely, and married Barbara Gordon, while her father becomes mayor of the rebuilding Gotham.

A Flip of a Coin[]

Barbara and Tim are forced to cut their honey moon short, as they must contend with a new plot by Two-Face. With Barbara in support as Oracle as usual, Robin infiltrates the waste disposal plant that Two-Face had refitted to process stolen money. Robin struggles with fighting crime without the support of Batman, feeling an insecurity about it that Oracle tries to defuse.

Two-Face sends insults over the intercom, attempting to undermine Robin's confidence as a solo fighter. Eventually, Robin bests every obstacle, fighting Two-Face directly, defeating him and returning him to police custody.

  • Bo Staff: A powerful staff and Robin's main weapon. He fights opponents with it and uses it in combat, with many techniques and moves with it.
