Robin is the nephew of Kermit the Frog. It is unknown which of his parents Kermit's related to, but it can be assumed in the "Bernadette Peters" episode of "The Muppet Show" that Robin's father is Kermit's brother, as when Robin refuses to sing "I'm Five", Kermit threatens to get his (Robin's) father. Originally, Robin was puppeteered by the late Jerry Nelson, but currently by Matt Vogel. In the animated series "Muppet Babies", he is a tadpole and is voiced by Russi Taylor.
