Jack Carter also known as Rock Keats is one of the two main protagonists (Alongside Archie Moses) of the 1996 Comedy Action movie Bulletproof. He is a detective to who befriends a criminal to stop a wealthy crime lord.
He is played by Damon Wayans, who also portrayed Blankman in the 1994 movie of the same name, Roger Murtaugh in Lethal Weapon, Jimmy Dix in The Last Boy Scout, Benson Winifred Payne in Major Payne, and Michael Richard Kyle in My Wife and Kids.
Biography[]
Carter high hijacks a car before asking a cop for directions to Disneyland. Carter and Archie went to a restaurant and Archie explains to Carter that he works for Frank Colton and that he sells drugs for him. Archie talked Carter into making shipments of drugs for Frank Colton as a job. Carter agrees before they left the restaurant before he attempts to steal another car and gets capture by his fellow cop friends and taken to the police station.
Later, He and Archie were sent to a drug facility to pick up drugs in an undercover car. Archie's friend Rigo was suspicious of Carter looking around like he's investigating. Archie unzips his jacket to show that he isn't wired, However, he was wired which Archie unintentionally revealing that he's a cop. Carter puts Archie under arrest as Archie yells at him in betrayal. The police arrive and began a shootout. Carter finds Archie hiding from him before a crate hook hits him the back causing him to accidentally shoot him in the head before he instantly fell to the ground as Archie escapes.
Carter was taken to the hospital and was revived. The doctors got him a physical therapist named Tracy Flynn to help him get back on his feet. Carter finds Archie in the the desert training his dog infront of a group of cops. Carter demanded them to cuff him which they do they walk him over to a plane to take him back to town beofr Colton's assassins try to kill them. They both went inside the plane before one of them sneaks onto the plane and tried to him. Carter shoot the assassin down as the plane starts crashing. They find the pilot dead and attempt to take control of the plane. They landed the plane near a cliff in the desert and jumps out before the plane fell off and exploded. Carter cuffs Archie and walked into the desert together.
They find a lodge and checked in for a room. Archie insists that him getting shot in the head was an accident before Carter ties him to a toilet. Archie hears a noise from outside. Archie wakes up Carter by pressing the remote of the TV to play the porno in full volume to wake him up. They break free and both got pick up by Charlie to escape Colton's assassins before Charlie drops them off at a gas station.
Later, Carter turns Archie in the police station and was taken to a jail cell. After Carter finds out that Tracy is being hold hostage by Colton he gets Archie out of jail if he brings Archie to his house. They walk over to Colton's place, they head inside and took out Colton's assassins. Carter reunites with Tracy before revealing that she works for Colton and holds him at gunpoint, Archie sneaks up to them and snatched the gun out of her hand before she smacks him as she tries to kill him. Carter slowly walks up Tracy as she drops her gun before Archie takes a bullet to the back saving Carter from getting shot by Colton. Carter cuffs Tracy to the stairs before Colton lurrs Carter to his office, Carter fights Colton and hold Carter as he was about kill him. Archie saves Keat by shotting Colton in the head killing him instantly. Carter and Archie say good bye as Archie leaves before the Police arrived.
