Putzie is a high school student at Rydell High School and a member of the T-Birds. His girlfriend is Jan. He is played by Kelly Ward, in the 2016 live performance by David Del Rio, and in the 2017 play version by Jordan Cabrita (alongside his co-star and singer, Stephanie Mercer whom played Cabrita's love interest).
At the Frosty Palace, he was amazed that Jan didn't make him pay through the nose, making him pay for a lot of food. He referred to her as `A Cheap Date', but as he tried to apologize, she'd taken it as the compliment intended. She invited him to her place for some of her mom's pie.
Putzie was the one at Thunder Road who accidentally hit Kenickie in the head with the car door.
