President Ronald Wilson Reagen is a minor character in the 2012 and 2024 first-person shooters Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, as well as being a supporting character in the 2020 first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

Biography[]

Background[]

Ronald Wilson Reagen was born on February 6th, 1911 in Tampico, Illinois. While growing up, he became a professional actor, but later dove into a political career. He would later win the election of president in 1981, surpassing Jimmy Carter.

Assassination of Arash[]

On January 12th, 1981 Reagen approved the assassination of Arash Kadivar, an Iranian terrorist who was partially responsible for the Iranian Hostage Crisis of 1979. He sent in Russell Adler, Frank Woods and Alex Mason to interrogate Qasim Javadi on Arash's whereabouts. After learning that he was in Trabzon Airfield, they stormed the airfield and ended up killing Arash, while also learning that a Soviet operative codenamed "Perseus" was back in play. On January 20th, he was sworn in as the 40th president of the United States.

Hunting Perseus[]

After the return to the States, Reagen gave a debrief alongside Alexander Haig and James Baker. After confirming his suspicions regarding Perseus to both Adler and Jason Hudson, he gave them execute authority to kill him.

Canon[]

Following the raid on Solovetsky, Emerson Black informed Reagen the successful operation, and included to Hudson that the president had personally reached out to Eleazar "Lazar" Azoulay's family and sent his corpse to Tel Aviv.

Non-canon[]

In the event Bell lied and killed Adler, Mason, Woods, and Lazar/Helen Park, Black would inform Reagen of their predicament after Perseus detonated the Operation Greenlight nukes in Europe. Black would then proceed to tell him that he and George H.W. Bush should go into the presidential bunker until it blew over.

Tearing Down the Wall[]

On November 9th, 1989 Reagen made a speech to tell Mikhail Gorbachev to open the gate into the Soviet Union. He would later be succeeded by Bush later that year and pass away on June 5th, 2004..
