The Ronin is a major character introduced in the first season of Star Wars: Visions, specifically the alternate timeline set in a medival world during the Japanese Edo age.
The main protagonist of the 2022 animated episode "The Duel", the Ronin novel and the one-shot manga of the same name. he is a mysterious rogue who decided to amend for his past as the one who created the "Sith", walking on a path to exile in order to find himself a chance of redemption.
He is voiced by Brian Tee.

The Duel[]
Arriving at a town mixed with chaos between the Jedi army against Kouru, a sith on the run, the Ronin took it upon himself to take her down and protect the innocence from harm. He chase and duel Kouru, as he is confronted about his past and that he was a traitor to the sith themselves. Despite feeling guilty for what once caused, the Ronin continues the duel.
Eventually, he take down Kouru and return to the village, giving the village major a kyber crystal meant to represent the light, before walking alone on his path again.
Trivia[]
- The Ronin's lightsaber is mentioned to be malfunctioned, hence it needed a cap to cover the rest of the blade. This is a reference to the traditional romantized design of a ronin, who often wielded a Katana blade.
- He is so far the only character of Star Wars: Visions who received reccurring appearances in other forms of media.
