Rosalie is a major character in the CROSS ANGE Rondo of Angel and Dragon television series. She is the pilot of AW-CBR115 (RS) Rosalie Custom.
She was voiced by Kaori Ishihara in the Japanese dub and Margaret Lewis in the English dub in the anime.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Like any other Norma, she exiles to an island called Arzenal. When she was little, she received a gift from Chris and Hilda.
Present[]
After Zola's death, she and Chris attempt to bully Ange for the latter's demise. While started to prank the former princess, many of their pranks failed during their attempts. She, along with Chris and Hilda not only hated Ange for the death of Zola, but she gets paid more than anyone else. But after Ange saves her entire unit from being killed by a powerful DRAGON, she accepted and befriended with Ange.
During the Festa Festival, Rosalie is seen gambling a pig race and participated in the Sports Festival.
Once Hilda returned to Arzenal, Chris and Rosalie visits her prison cell and asked her why she kept ignoring them. Hilda reveals to them that she never thought of them as friends and but was only using her, Rosalie, and Zola, causing Chris to become furious and spit at Hilda's face. Before they leave, she tells Hilda that she should have died and brought Zola's room.
She and the others defend the Arzenal from the Scuna-Class DRAGONs and heard a strange song.
After filling in as squad leader, Hilda orders Rosalie and Chris to cover the residential area. When Ange makes contact with a DRAGON with an Endless Song, revealing to be Vivian. Ange quickly realizes that DRAGONs are humans.
As Julio leads his fleet, Jill orders everyone to ignore the message and prepare to defend themselves and Rosalie asks about the rebellion, which Hilda replied that is dying by following Jill's orders or be killed by Humans, which made them thought it was a good time to fight back against the Humanity. Once she and Chris got back to their Para-mails, both exploded, sending them and what's left of their Para-mails failing to their doom. After seeing Chris's body on the ground, Rosalie starts to cry and furiously said she'll kill them all and fought the Mana soldiers with anger.
Later at night time, Rosalie, Hilda, and Momoka found Ange, Tusk, and Vivian, but seemed to be frightened when she sees Vivian.
After Ange escapes, Jill blames Tusk for letting the Diamond Rose Knights hijack Villkiss and his actions causing Libertus' failure. Hilda and Rosalie realize that Ange and Chris are important to them, Hilda meets Tusk to thwart Jill's escape to kill Embryo. While Jill tries to escape, she reveals to Hilda that Embryo brainwashed her and even letting her friends and loved ones die just to kill him, as it is the only thing she can do to atone for the crime. Jill is then defeated and captured by Hilda and Rosalie.
During the battle, Rosalie and Hilda are confronted by Chris, who is now a loyal servant to Embryo. Rosalie remorselessly asks Chris why she and the others joined Embryo and make war with each other, Chris claims she has always put up with her treatment as she is always seen lost and says that Embryo proposed that he wanted to be friends with her.
Near the end of the series, after Embryo abandons the Diamond Rose Knights, Chris angrily starts to destroy everything in her path, only to be stopped by Rosalie, who risked her life to save Chris and regain her spirit.
After Embryo meets his demise, Rosalie is last seen with the others in the final scene of the series.
Appearance[]
Rosalie has short orange hair and blue eyes. She appears to be the same height as Hilda and wears earrings.
Personality[]
When Rosalie first appears, she has a rather obsession with getting money and often finds an opportunity for gaining more. After finding out that Chris was alive and joined the Diamond Rose Knights, she felt heartbroken and feels the loss without her.
