She was portrayed by the late Olivia Hussey in the 1974 film adaptation, by Zoe Telford in Agatha Christie's Poirot, and portrayed by Letitia Wright (who also portrayed Shuri in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and voiced Nooshy in Sing 2) in the 2022 film adaptation.
Overview[]
Rosalie Otterbourne is the daughter of Salome Otterbourne and the love interest of Tim Allerton. Unlike her unplesant mother, Rosalie is delightful and has a gracious and flexible approach. Biography[]
Trivia[]
- In the 1974 film, Tim Aller was omitted and Rosalie later fell in love with Jim Ferguson, who became a much nicer person by the end of the film, much better than his more unreasonable novel counterpart.
- In Agatha Christie's Poirot, Tim and Rosalie do not fall happily in love with each other at the end of the adaptation. Instead, he gently refuses her advances, on the ambiguous implication that he is either homosexual, or in a relationship with his mother, which is implied to be a questionable fact by the adaptation.
- Death on the Nile and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, both of which Letitia Wright starred in, came out in 2022.
