Ruby is a major character in the animated web-series Battle for Dream Island, she serves as a female contestant in the show.

She serves as a minor character in the first season, a major character in the second and third, and a supporting character in the fourth.

She was voiced by Michael Huang in BFDI, BFDIA 5a-5e, and IDFB and as of BFDIA 6 and BFB 1, she is currently voiced by Cary Huang.

Biography[]

Early Life[]

Ruby lived with 35 other sisters in a gemstone cave and appeared as a recommended character in a few BFDI episodes. The Speaker box chose Ruby over the other gemstones after she intruded in their discussion. This sparked a hatred towards Ruby which she was originally oblivious to.

BFDI[]

Ruby was one of the 30 recommended characters to have a chance to debut in the show, in her audition shes begging the viewers to vote her into the game, this fails as she gets fifth place with 25 votes, failing to join the game to David who instead joined.

BFDIA[]

in BFDIA, she was voted in by the viewers as a newbie and played a much bigger role. She ended up entering Pencil's alliance with Match, when they wanted to recover Bubble Ruby feared that she was being replaced and kicked out of the alliance, however she was wrong as they all stayed together and later forged the team FreeSmart with Book and Ice Cube. She ended up forging a rivalry with Pin due to her shrinking her with her prize, however due to people not liking this move she was later eliminated after being put up for elimination with Book.

Personality[]

Ruby is often a dimwit most of the time, and is very kind to her alliance members, she can be a bit selfish at times, as seen when she joins BFDI solo despite her sisters wanting to all join together. She is also quite optimistic at times.

Appearance[]

Ruby has a round brilliant gemstone cut. She is not translucent nor refractive. In BFDIA, Ruby has less contrast than in "Reveal Novum". In IDFB and BFB, she is a bit darker-colored.
