Ryder Nattura (or simply Ryder) is a supporting character in Frozen II, sequel of Frozen. He is Honeymaren’s brother and a member of Noundraths Tribe.
He was voiced by Jason Ritter.
Ryder is a robust and nice guy, who loves nature, respects it and this also on the animals of the Enchanted Forest. He is very protective of his sister, since she is the only one of the family left to him. It seems that during the film he becomes Kristoff's best friend. He also seems a bit bizarre as he talks to the reindeer in a comical way. He has never even been in a relationship with women, and that could be a little problematic.
When Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven enter the Enchanted Forest and after passing [ [Gale]], spirit of the wind, Anna with a sword found there near an ice statue removes a bush where she discovers the Noundraths including Ryder and some Arendelle guards. When Ryder and the other Noudtraths attack the group, Elsa uses her ice magic to stop them, and at this Ryder and the other Noundrtaths are shocked to see that a girl from Arendelle has magical powers. When he sees Olaf he takes a hit and doesn't hesitate to hide behind her sister, he also gets stuck in the absurd story as Olaf shows it. When Bruni, that is, the spirit of fire attacks the Northuldras camp shortly after Ryder aided by Kristoff and Sven, he runs to rescue some reindeer in a blind corner. Ryder later points out that Anna and Elsa's scarf is from a Northuldra, and so the two sisters discover that their mother, Queen Iduna, was a Northuldra. And so Ryder joins his people to welcome the girls with the song Vuelie , and Elsa excites both him and all the other Northuldras. While Olaf and the girls continue their journey a little alone, Ryder socializes a lot with Kristoff explaining that he was born in the forest, has always lived there with his sister and the other Noundrtahs in the forest and has never seen clear skies. When Kristoff tells him that he truly loves Anna, but he never finds a way to ask her if she wants to marry him, Ryder, even though he doesn't know much about women, decides to help him along with some reindeer. The next morning the boys get ready to make the marriage proposal while they wait for Anna to arrive, but instead of her they find Yelana who informs them that the girls are gone. Although Ryder tries to console and convince Kristoff to return to the camp, the boy prefers to be alone for a while. Eventually, the Enchanted Forest is cleared of the fog that enveloped it and Ryder is amazed at it. He is last seen galloping on a reindeer with Honemaren, who take a ride with Elsa while having fun.
- Ryder is called after co-director Chris Buck’s late son, who died shortly before the premiere of the original Frozen.
