Ryder Read is a character from the Arthur special, "The Rhythm and Roots of Arthur".
He is voiced by Luca Villicas.
Biography[]
When the Read family arrived at Theo's barn, Ryder invites Arthur and Buster to see his pond, but D.W. couldn't catch up as she is introduced to Theodore and his family. At the pond, he shows Arthur and Buster how to swing over the pond on a rope and then he shows the boys his museum, which consists of animals he caught to study them. Buster dares to hold a snake, but then he freaks out and drops it so that it gets away.
Later, Arthur gives Ryder a Dark Bunny snow plow and the boys discuss it at dinnertime. The next day, Ryder didn't care about the snowplow anymore since he doesn't read any comics or watch much TV because he and Arthur don't have things in common despite being cousins.
In the end, Ryder and Arthur protest and realize that they play music in common.
