Sabreman is the main character of the Sabreman series. He is an old British adventurer wearing a pith helmet.

History[]

Sabre Wulf[]

Sabreman explores a jungle labyrinth in search of an amulet that will gain him entry to the Underwurlde. He must find all four pieces of the amulet while defending himself against hostile creatures with his sabre, and also avoid being hunted down by the titular Sabre Wulf itself.

Underwurlde[]

Stuck inside the Underwurlde, Sabreman must find a way to pass the exit guardians and escape. To achieve this, Sabreman needs to alternate between two different environments in order to proceed and defeat various creatures that can hinder his progress. After passing by all three exit guardians, Sabreman finds three doorways that each lead to different adventures.

Knight Lore[]

Sabreman is bitten by Sabre Wulf and cursed to become a werewolf every night. He has forty days to gather ingredients in Melkhior the Wizard's castle to brew a cure for his curse. Sabreman has to navigate through the castle's many puzzles to collect the ingredients while avoiding any dangers he encounters, especially in his werewolf form.

Pentagram[]

Sabreman becomes a wizard and needs to find a magical artifact called the Pentagram by restoring broken obelisks using well water. He must also deal with various supernatural enemies with his magic during the task. Once the Pentagram appears, Sabreman needs to gather five magic ruinstones to place in the artifact itself.

Sabre Wulf (2004)[]

Sabreman has retired from adventuring when a mad scientist called Dr. Dolittle-Goode frees Sabre Wulf from imprisonment as part of a plot to achieve world domination. These events cause Sabreman to come out of retirement in order to obtain treasures stolen by Sabre Wulf and retrieve amulet pieces needed to seal the beast away again from each of Dr. Dolittle-Goode's laboratories.

Other Media[]

Banjo-Tooie[]

Sabreman is an old man found in the icy side of Hailfire Peaks. Banjo and Kazooie first find him frozen. They will need Mumbo's help to thaw Sabreman. Now Sabreman says he's cold, so Kazooie will have to warm him up by either using the Dragon Breath or Fire Eggs. Sabreman then says he wants to go back to his tent on the lava side of Hailfire Peaks. Banjo has to carry Sabreman in his backpack to the tent. Banjo and Kazooie will then receive a Jiggy. After Sabreman gets to his tent, he goes to sleep. He talks in his sleep for a while until Banjo leaves.

Banjo-Pilot[]

Sabreman makes a cameo on the track "Jolly Roger's Lagoon".
