Saki Nikaido is one of the 7 protagonists of Zombie Land Saga anime series. She is a former street racer who died in 1997 in a motorbike accident, then, along with the other 6 zombies, brought back to life. Like most the other zombies, her senses return after their first audition.

Saki is a teenage girl with golden eyes and blonde hair, often tied into a high ponytail and bangs often swept to the left with orange highlights.
Her casual outfit consists of a maroon and white jacket over a white top and a navy blue knee-length skirt. She also wears her shirt with a red tie. To sleep, she wears a long-sleeved, oversize light blue top with orange pants.
Like the other zombies, she originally has bluish-gray skin with red eyes, and her hair becomes messier and duller in regular zombie form. When in her makeup, she looks just like her former human form, and she also use contact lenses to gain her golden eye color.
Personality[]
Despite being cruel and rebellious, she actually quite annoying in one side, like when she warms up to her zombie friends, alongside showing much softer side like when she comforts Ai Mizuno and when she seeing her old bike gang. She fonds Tamagotchi a lot and loves to going to Drive-in Tori while she still alive. She also quite intimidating, although starts to being serious after being an idol. Her most notable quotes is "I'll kill you", which she often said when threatening someone.
History[]
Back in 1997, Saki was the leader of Dorami biker gang who planned to conquer the whole Kyushu island. Their intentions got disturbed by a rival biker gang named Korosuke, which lead to a competition between the two gangs. She managed to conquer Kyushu, but then was challenged for a chicken race.
The race turns into a catastrophic accident after Saki's bike fell off the ravine. She manage to bail out, but it was too late that she was killed by the depth of the ravine. Still, her boldness was never gone, even after her death. This can be seen in the rematch scene in Episode 9.

- Saki was revealed to be only 18 when she died in 1997.
- Her first name, Saki, is written in katakana (サキ), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (咲), it could possibly mean "bloom."
- Her last name is a name of a clan of Japanese samurai that ruled the Iwase District of Mutsu Province during the Sengoku period during the Kamakura era. The founder was Nikaido Yukimasa and they lived in the Sukagawa Castle.
- Saki died three months after her eighteenth birthday.
