Sam (Egg Kevin's House)

Sam is the main protagonist of Roblox 2023 horror game Egg Kevin's House. They are friends with the school bully, Billy, who attempted to egg Kevin's House. They’re also friends with Kevin.

This article goes through Sam's Pacifist route.

Biography[]

Prologue[]

After Billy got in trouble with the "nerd of the school", Kevin, Sam is invited to tag along with him to Kevin's home to prank him by egging his house. Sam can choose to partake or not to partake in this, but if they don't partake, they watch and stand around. However, Billy accidentally throws an egg at a candle on the windowsill, causing it to fall into the house and set Kevin's house on fire. While Sam tries to question Billy's actions, they have no choice but to escape with the latter.

Twenty Years Later[]

Twenty years later, Sam and Billy return to Kevin's home with a new friend, Steven. They all take a look at the abandoned house and decided to use it as a tool to gain some views, despite Sam protesting against that idea. Sam takes a look around the house, discovering a door to the basement that's labeled "Fun Dungeon" which scares them off. While they were sleeping, they had a nightmare where they were back in Kevin's house, where they opened the "Fun Dungeon". They turn their back to the open door when someone grabs their shoulders and they jolt awake with a petrified look. This alerted their instinct as they grab the knife along with them.

The second night, the group returns for a period of time to film a scene where Billy teases the viewers about a possible visit to the house, which Sam is directed to close the door upon mentioning a word. After a short video, Steven tells the two that he's going to arrive early tomorrow to set some stuff up. The other two understand,

By the third day, Sam and Billy arrived at the house to see that no one is waiting for them. Sam and Billy went on to search for Steven. Billy then looks at the "Fun Dungeon" door, asking Sam if he could've gone there. Sam and Billy enter the basement. Sam tries to tell Billy that they should alert the police and get out of there, but Billy insists that they would find Steven themselves. When Sam finds Steven's headphones on the floor, they are knocked out by Kevin, who was thought to have died years ago in the house fire. Kevin tells them the true story of what had happened that day. He then knocks over a candle, setting the place ablaze. Tied to the ground, Sam is left to die in the fire with Billy. However, Sam uses the knife they previously brought before to free themself and you can decide if you want to save Billy or not. You (both) leave the burning house as you confront Kevin again. You can decide if you want to kill Kevin by throwing a knife at him or to let him go.

You can also wait until the basement fully catches on fire. This has two different endings. If you helped Billy egg Kevin’s house, you’ll die. If you didn’t help Billy, you are rescued by Kevin.

Personality[]

Sam's personality is based on the player's choice of dialogue. In the Pacifist route, they show clear reluctance and uneasiness behind all the choices made, despite no one listening to their comments. It's implied that Sam clings to the past when they say that they couldn't bring themself to hurt Kevin, as they were once friends. They're quite cowardly but know what the right decision is to make, yet they can't seem to stand up for themself so they end up doing bad things.

Sam is a generally moral person though, and always tries to take the best course of action whenever they can.
