Sam Parrish is the overarching protagonist of the 1995 film Jumanji based on the 1981 fantasy children's picture book by Chris Van Allsburg. He is the father of Alan Parrish even the husband of Carol-Anne Parrish even the father-in-law of Sarah Whittle and the boss and founder of Parrish Shoes.
He is portrayed by Jonathan Hyde (who also played Van Pelt in the same film).
