Samantha "Sammy" Moore is one of the two tritagonists in Dora and the Lost City of Gold, a close friend of Dora and Diego‘s love interest. She is played by Madeleine Madden.

History

Acquainted at Silverlake High School delivering cupcakes by Dora, Sammy questions her for what happened in their first class just finished. Two months later she attends the school dance disguised as a judge and on the next day, an important field trip to the history museum, partnered up with Randy, Dora and Diego. A few minutes later they check out the basement then they are captured by poachers, only to wake up being unloaded from a plane then Dora who rescues the team attract Alejandro who let Swiper the fox steal Dora's map.

Then they escape in a jeep to the jungle to start their journey, where Alejandro teaches them the dangers of the rainforest. A while later they meet Dora's best friend Boots. When she has to go to the bathroom door, Dora offers to help by digging a hole with their shovel. A few seconds later Incans shoot the group until they go into a log and roll down a hill. Sammy then gets mad at Dora, but apologizes and met an old Incan woman that says that she can help her and Randy.

After a dream sequence she and Randy woke up Alejandro, Dora and Diego. A few hours later they set off rescuing Dora's parents, only to be trapped in a room full of levers. Randy accidentally fills the room with water but he saves the group.

A minute later they met Dora's parents and it turns out Alejandro leads the poachers who ties them. After a while Boots the monkey unties and rescues them, who come up with a plan to rescue Dora's parents.

They sneak into the city for their mission after a jungle puzzle into which Alejandro gets tricked standing in the wrong direction. After Dora explains the truth, Alejandro was brought to justice when the whole city was about to collapse. The team and the parents run escaping the city and Dora saves it when the rescue committee comes by. All decides to go back to the city and celebrate her freedom with her friends.
