The next day, after Phillip discovers a green-goo like thing called "Flubber" along with his mechanical hovering partner, Weebo, she became really upset at him for not showing up at the third wedding and also tells him that their relationship is over. While Phillip is testing his vintage Ford Thunderbird with flubber, he discovers that Wilson Croft is beginning a relationship with her.
After Phillip begins another test using the effects of Flubber on a basketball, he uses his flubber fluid and sprays it on one of the basketball player's shoes and tests it out. Weebo then came over to Sara's house to show Sara the footage to Phillip as Sara reconciles with him and Phillip begins to demonstrate Flubber's abilities to her. After Hoenicker's goons destroy the lab and Weebo, she and Phillip had to get revenge on Wilson and Hoenicker and his goons in order to rescue Flubber. After Wilson is defeated by Flubber, she and Phillip finally get Flubber back and raise enough money to save the college. She and Phillip are finally married with Flubber becoming their son and the daughter of Weebo called Weebette takes Weebo's place as their daughter and the family leave for Hawaii in Phillip's car at the end of the film.
