Satoru Fujinuma is the main protagonist of the anime and manga series ERASED. He is a manga artist and the son of Sachiko Fujinuma. He is also the archenemy of Gaku Yashiro.
He is voiced by Shinnosuke Mitsushima and Tao Tsuchiya in the Japanese version, Benjamin Diskin and Michelle Ruff in the English dub, and is played by Tatsuya Fujiwara in the live action film.
Personality[]
Satoru is a shy, reticent person in the original timeline. He was shown to have anti-social behavior, where he would fake getting along with people in order to maintain good relationships since his youth, and he has had trouble understanding people's emotions. Following Sachiko Fujinuma's murder, he made his final choice to go back in time, fixing his mistakes in the past, where he was forced into situations he did not want to be in. However, when a revival occurs, Satoru lets go of his anti-social behavior by replacing it with compassion and selflessness. In the current timeline, Satoru becomes more lively, social and outgoing.
Additionally, Satoru is shown to be a brave, sympathetic and caring person to his friends and family, although he does have some manipulative behavior, but he uses it for good by simply manipulating Gaku to help him with his problem (like saving Kayo from her abusive mother).
