Scoop Bob the Builder
Scoop Redesign

He in the 2015 reboot.

Scoop is one of the protagonists of Bob the Builder and the anti-hero and the (former) sole antagonist, later the protagonist of Snowed Under. He is voiced by Rob Rackstraw in the UK, Alan Marriott in the US and Blake Harrison in the 2015 series. He is the leader of the machines. He's 12-years-old.

Personality

Scoop is friendly, caring, kind-hearted and a good leader.

He is shown to have a emotional side in Snowed Under when he cried serval times because he was guilty. The last time he cried was in his dream when he got happy for winning a gold medal, but changed back to his normal personality.

He was also angry and was mean to Dizzy, Muck, Roley and Lofty in Snowed Under and he was even working by himself until the end.

In serval ways, Scoop's personality can be similar to Bob's.

Trivia

  • Scoop was the first machine that Bob got.
  • Although Scoop's gender is male, his gender was female in Polish and Swedish.
  • In 1999, Scoop was made as a coin-operated kiddie ride by Jolly Roger Amusement Rides LTD. The original version featured 2 rectangular buttons, a green one to start the ride and a red one for sound effects and phrases. Later, another version was made, which had circular buttons.
  • Scoop is allergic to hay, grass and flowers as he has hay fever. This makes him the first machine to have an allergy.
  • Scoop's railway compatible Brio models incorrectly depict him with no rear actor. It is included in his Builder System model.
  • Scoop was originally going to be called Dig. This name was only used in the pilot episode.
  • Despite his rear actor, Scoop has the ability to be hitched up to trailers, as seen in the episode Muck Gets Stuck in which he towed the mobile Generator.
