Scooter is the Muppet Show's gofer backstage. He is the nephew of J.P. Grosse, the owner of the Muppet Theatre. Scooter, along with Kermit the Frog have been in every produced episode of the show. Scooter regularly wears glasses with eyes imbedded into them. Even though his uncle hired him, Scooter handles Grosse's job nepotism and efficiency. Sometimes, Scooter has participated in some Muppet Show sketches. Through the second to fourth seasons, Scooter checked the guest stars whether they were ready.
In The Muppet Movie, Scooter was the road manager of Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem and they decided to help Kermit get his dream. In The Great Muppet Caper, Scooter is a resident of the Happiness Hotel. By 2011, Scooter is employed by Google Inc., as seen in The Muppets.
