Scott Voss is one of the main protagonists in Here Comes the Boom. He is portrayed by Kevin James, who also portrayed, Doug Heffernan in the King of Queens, Otis in Barnyard, Frankenstein in Hotel Transylvania, Paul Blart in the Paul Blart films, Eric Lamonsoff in the Grown ups films, Griffin Keyes in Zookeeper, and Will Cooper in Pixels.
Biography[]
Scott Voss is a biology teacher in Boston. He used to be a free style wrestler in College. His friend Marty who is a music teacher is going to lose his job, since the school is tightening their belts on the school budget. They're going to cut their music funding that will put Marty out of work. The school needs 48,000 dollars to keep Marty's job. Scott is trying to raise the money as he can, he also moonlights as a U.S. citizenship teacher, until fate intervenes. One of his students, Niko was an ex mixed-martial arts fighter and invited Scott watching the fight with him at his tv in his place. Niko explained to Scott that one of the fighters that lost made ten thousand dollars a fight. That got Scott thinking, Niko made some arrangements to get him into Mixed Martial Arts. Scott made a deal with Niko, he will help him tutor for his American citizenship test, that he will train him to mixed martial fighter. Niko trained him really hard. Scott win and lose some matches, he has enough money to keep Marty's job. He has one final fight in Pro division in U.F.C. to win or lose and enough money to save Mary's job. But his girlfriend Bella told him, that one of the administrator's in the schools embezzled a lot of money from the school and which is why the school was suffering so hard. The administrator is arrested, but can't recover the money. Scott decides he is going for the win and win 50,000 for the school. He won the U.F.C. fight in his debut and has enough money to save Marty's job. Niko is now an American citizen, since he passes his exam.
