Secre Swallowtail, or mostly known by her bird form Nero, is one of the main characters in the Black Clover franchise.
Secre was once the loyal servant of Lemiel Silvamillion Clover (whom was the first Magic Emperor of the Clover Kingdom) and his noblewoman before he was sealed away by her, which also turned her into an Anti-bird. The latter would join Asta and the rest as a member of the Black Bull.
She is voiced by Ayane Sakura in the Japanese dub (while Hitomi Sasaki voiced for Nero), and by Monica Rial in the English dub.
Biography[]
An anti-bird that has taken a liking to Asta. In truth, she's the bird form of Secre Swallowtail. A servant of the first Wizard King, Lumiere Silvamillion Clover, she helped develop the magic tools he worked on to achieve his dream of equality within the kingdom. On the day of the elf massacre, Secre saved Lumiere using Forbidden Magic, at the cost of spending centuries as a bird. She later joins the Black Bulls.
She uses Sealing Magic, an ancient magic that has been affected by her use of Forbidden Magic, allowing her to seal and unseal objects, individuals, and even damage.
Personality[]
Secre is a very apathetic, calm, mature, and serious girl who showed great loyalty to Lemiel. When as Nero, she wound often get annoyed and pecked anyone in the head but mostly that was done with Asta whenever he acts idiotic or yells too much.
However, she still remains loyal to Asta and sometimes can merely leave his side every once in awhile. Constantly helps and guides him in most situations.
