Seikret are Bird Wyverns introduced in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Appearance[]
Seikret adults are feathered, green, bipedal dromeosaurid-like animals. Depending on its nutrition, the Seikret's entire body's plumage can change color and pattern, giving it a wide range of tints and colors. This allows its owners to personalize the hue of their Seikret to their preference. Despite having short front arms, it is nonetheless capable of running in a quadrupedal position. It can glide thanks to the ability of these limbs to unfold into wings.
Small and round, Seikret chicks have short, forward-pointing crests on their heads, fluffy white feathers, and smaller beaks.
Behavior and Abilities[]
Like Canynes, it appears that Seikret only works with hunters, giving them a fast mount while gliding on its forearm wings. Depending on the terrain and its desired speed, it can run on all four limbs or only two. They have been raised as companions and as mounts by the Kunafa Sandfolk for many centuries.
By enabling the Hunter to employ slingers, ranged weapons like Heavy Bowguns, and the ability to combo into jump attacks for melee weapons like the Great Sword, Seikret can help the Hunter in battle. They don't attack, but in the midst of a battle, they can quickly pull a hunter out of danger.
Hunters can swap between weapons while riding the Seikret by putting a second weapon in its weapon sling. It can direct its rider to the desired goal or area thanks to its highly developed sense of smell.
