Seishiro Nagi is a major character of the manga and anime series Blue Lock and the titular main protagonist of the spin-off Blue Lock: Episode Nagi. He is a participant for the Blue Lock project, he became a member of Team V in the First Selection upon first arriving at the Blue Lock facility, later become one of Isagi’s teammate in the Second Selection because and one of his best friend at the facility. Nagi would get one of the highest rank in the Blue Project after in his match against the Japan U-20 team after the Blue Lock Eleven.

He was voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki in Japanese and by Bryson Baugus and Landon Mcdonald in English

Nagi is a tall teenager, with a greater height than Isagi despite being younger than him. He has a thin yet athletic build and muscular frame. He has short white hair with one hair at the front between his two eyes arriving at his nose and has black pupils. As a participant of the project he wears the standard dark blue lock uniform with blue lines all over his body, a number that changes overtime that displays his rank among the other participant in the facility. As a a member of Team V he wears the 11# white and black jersey.

Nagi appears to be a calm teenager that has rarely ever shown any facial expression or emotions throughout the show, however his face would sometime show him to be suprised or concerned whenever another player display a impressive move or whenever the enemy team is about to score a goal.

Personality[]

Before having gotten into soccer he would usually spend his free times at school playing on his phone before becoming best friend with Reo Mikage after seeing his impressive talents and reflexes at catching objects with his legs. Reo saw his potential in soccer and would present the sport to him, however Nagi didn’t have actualy motivations on the sport itself as he was only playing to be with Reo. But after losing his match against Isagi’s team and witnessing the feeling of “losing” for the first time, Nagi would leave Reo and join Isagi’s team in the Second Selection mainly because he wanted explore these feelings deeper and his defeat against Team Z would lead him to improve his soccer talent even more. Isagi’s friendship would basically replace Reo as their relationships improves throughout the series. Even though his betrayal to Reo, he still does see him as a friend but simply not as important anymore due to his love soccer grew bigger. Like most and especially the top players of Blue Lock, Nagi has an egoistic side as in reality his dreams, goals and winning is the most important. Perfect Ball Control: Despite only started playing soccer a year before joining the project, he already became one of the highest ranked players in the facility, thanks to his abilities of amazing reflexes, strength and movements at controlling his body. Due to his natural talent at the sport, he can perform various techniques, such as when he did "fake volley shot" a technique that requires lots of for practises for most players because of the movement of the legs. Since Soccer is a sport that consist of having the control of the ball with the faster the player is adapted at controlling the object the more advantage the players can get. Nagi can set up many traps that can tricks the players of the enemy team and can score goals with very accurate shots. After having trained with Manshine City, he would start learning more about his own weaknesses and understand more about his strength.
