Seita Yokokawa is the fourteen year old protagonist of Studio Ghibli's third full-length animated motion picture, Grave of the Fireflies. After he and his young sister Setsuko lose their mother in the Kobe firebombing of World War II, their lives becomes a constant struggle for survival.
He was voiced by Tsutomu Tatsumi in the Japanese, and by J. Robert Spencer in the 1998 and Adam Gibbs in 2012 in the English.
Description[]
Seita Yokokawa was born in 1931. In 1941 his sister Setsuko is born. Sadly, he passed away on September 21st, 1945 towards end of the film.
Appearance[]
Seita has dark brown hair cut short and dark brown eyes. He wears an off white Captain's cap or school uniform cap with a black viser and a beige Kokumin-fuku jacket with a name tag, white tanktop underneath and beige pants with legwrapping on his shins he wears black ankle lace boots.
