| ~ Senjumaru Shutara |
Senjumaru Shutara is a major character from the manga/anime series, Bleach series. She is a member of the Royal Guard, holding the title "Great Weave Guard". She holds the position of Fourth Officer of the Zero Division, as well as "Divine General of the North".
She is voiced by Rina Satō in the Japanese version of the anime, and by Jeannie Tirado in the English version.
Appearance[]
Senjumaru Shutara has the appearance of a beautiful young woman with pale skin, red lipstick and gray eyes. In addition, she has long black hair decorated at the back with a distinctive golden symbol in the shape of a crescent moon with numerous small lines radiating outwards.
She is dressed in the standard Shinigami shihakushō under a long-sleeved white haori, additionally covered with a white robe fastened at the front near the center of the chest. Perhaps Senjumaru's most distinctive feature is the three pairs of golden mechanical arms attached to her back, which she uses in place of her actual hands.
Personality[]
Although Senjumaru is very calm and composed at almost all times, with nothing other than pure stoicism on her face, she proves to be quite an entertaining character, bringing along several instruments as fanfare when the Zero Division arrived in Soul Society, as well as as she taunted Mayuri, pointing out the poor security in his lab as she took Ichigo's destroyed zanpakuto, which Kurotsuchi was examining. She can also be quite disturbing to some characters, such as when she threatened Renji that she would accidentally castrate him if he did not remove his fundoshi so that she could fully measure his body for a new shihakushō.
When referring to herself, Senjumaru usually uses the archaic pronoun "warawa".

- In Chapter 480, members of the 12th Division mention a "Shutara Scale".
