Hero Overview

You dare say work for you while you ask to work with me? Doesn't that line show your evil thoughts? Sure, you will invest in me but you will make me spit out as much results as you invest. Then you could throw me away like I mean nothing when you feel like it. All you want to do is use me, but you say you want to work with me? You would make a dog laugh.
~ Seo Joo-Heon
To fool your enemies, you must fool your allies first
~ Seo Joo-Heon to George Hilton

Seo Joo-Heon (서주헌, seo ju-heon) is the titular main protagonist of the 2016 light novel series Tomb Raider King, and its 2019 manhwa and 2026 anime adaptation series of the same name.

He was betrayed and killed by his boss, but he was saved by a mighty relic by sending my mind back 15 years ago. Now with an understanding of the future, he will seek revenge on his boss, stop a large evil corporation from dominating the world, and become the King of the Relics.

Appearance[]

His appearance started with black spiky short hair and dark blue eyes and is tall, muscular and often wears turtleneck shirt with a white t-shirt underneath and wears jeans. His facial features and appearances are very firm and hard as he is noted to have a good looking face mentioned by many especially females such as Lee Seol-Ah in both light novel and manwha.

Personality[]

He is very arrogant, confident, greedy, and selfish, but never goes too far. He acts like he only cares about himself, but he truly cares about those closest to him, especially his subordinates, which makes him a radical tsundere. He treats them like family and enjoys spending a lot of attention and time towards helping them improve their skills to their full potential and become better people despite blatantly discriminating against them and working them like slaves. Also, he would always put on a brave front when he is with them to prevent people, especially his lovers, from worrying about him and nagging him. Furthermore, he would not hesitate to abandon his goals once he discovers that the people he cares about are in real danger.

He is ruthless and is not afraid of slaughtering, torturing, and deceiving his enemies every day which are people whom he treats as pawns and toys.

He is so dirty and petty that he would break all the rules and scam everyone to get everything that he wanted. His passion and obsession to obtain relics and take down his enemies are stronger and hotter than anybody else. He is relentless and would continue to reach greater heights to enact vengeance on his enemies. However, he is also extremely rational and cold like a wild beast that did not show its fangs unless it needed to do so. He has no proper sense of etiquette and lacks conventional heroic qualities but can be very charismatic. He has a "What's yours is mine, what's mine is mine" mentality

Origins/History[]

In the year 2025, mysterious tombs appeared worldwide, filled with relics inspired by myths and legends. People dedicated their lives to finding these treasures. Seo Joo-Heon joined the search late due to personal hardships but eventually became a skilled relic user. He conquered the Tomb of Greed alone, obtaining Mammon's Relic. Using his newfound power, he cleared dangerous tombs and became the first to conquer one of the Seven Great Tombs. Seo Joo-Heon formed the Guerrilla Excavation Team but faced betrayal from his right-hand man, John Harper. Despite the challenges, he joined TKBM and worked to cure his adoptive family's Relic Syndrome.Chairman Kwon recognized Seo Joo-Heon's exceptional skills and talents as a tomb raider and sought to harness them for his own gain. He made promises to Seo Joo-Heon, offering him wealth, support for his family's illnesses, and a position of importance within his organization, TKBM.

Seo Joo-Heon, driven by the desperation to cure his adoptive family's Relic Syndrome, reluctantly agreed to serve Chairman Kwon. Despite receiving better offers from other influential figures, Seo Joo-Heon saw Chairman Kwon as the only one capable of fulfilling his needs. He became Chairman Kwon's loyal servant, undertaking dangerous and morally questionable missions, such as smuggling, theft, and even assassination.

Under Chairman Kwon's command, Seo Joo-Heon formed and led Team 13, a group of skilled relic users within TKBM. Their primary objective was to secure relics and eliminate Chairman Kwon's rivals and competitors. Through their efforts, Chairman Kwon rose to become the strongest relic user in the world, with Seo Joo-Heon and his team playing a crucial role in his success.

However, as Chairman Kwon's power and influence grew, Seo Joo-Heon and his team faced increasing disdain and contempt from other relic users. They were seen as pawns serving a dictator and were subjected to insults and mockery. Despite the criticisms, Seo Joo-Heon remained committed to Chairman Kwon, believing that only he had the resources and relics necessary to support his family.

But, as their ultimate mission inside The Great Prison tomb approached, Seo Joo-Heon began to realize that Chairman Kwon had betrayed him and his team. Instead of fulfilling their agreement, Chairman Kwon sent them into a deadly trap, leaving Seo Joo-Heon as the sole survivor, severely injured and filled with resentment.

This betrayal marked a turning point for Seo Joo-Heon. Fueled by anger and a thirst for revenge, he vowed to take down TKBM and Chairman Kwon, even if it meant his own demise. It was in this desperate moment that the Crow relic offered him a chance to change his fate and rewrite history. The Crow then transported his consciousness back in time to January 1, 2025, allowing him to retain all his memories and experiences.

Now, with an understanding of the future, he will seek revenge on his boss, stop a major evil syndicate from dominating the world, and become the King of the Relics.
