Serpenteze is Masato Kazami’s Guardian Bakugan and former villain-turned-minor hero in Bakugan: Battle Planet and Bakugan: Armored Alliance.

When Masato fought Serpenteze, they were then causing harm to Shun and his friends. But when Masato made a mistake and he knew Ichiro Kazami would not forgive it, he rejected it, after which he found the gate to the Maze, to which he then fled. But it followed Masato to the Maze, and brought him food while he was handing over, and then Masato realized that it was the only thing he had had all along. Then when Masato met the Golden Bakugan named Goreene and learned a lot from him, he returned with it to warn everyone of the dangers of the V Virus, and when Masato met Ichiro Kazami and asked him for help, he refused to help and then he went to the Maze to capture Goreene. Since then, it and Masato have tried to save Goreene because Ichiro did not come to his senses on the issue he and Masato discussed. And when the Awesome Ones met it and Masato again, they were surprised to see it when Masato looked older, and then they left to follow it and Masato. When Masato told the Awesome Ones everything, they then started releasing Goreene, but at that moment Tiko had sent the Bakuzons to destroy Goreene. But when Goreene was rescued and the Kazami fortress was being destroyed, making everyone Bakuzons, everyone fled, and then Shun thought that both his father and Serpenteze and Masato had been destroyed, but they did survive the explosion. Then when Ichiro became Bakuzon, Masato tried to stop him with it, and when Shun and Lia met Masato again, Shun wanted to face his father, who had become Bakuzon alone, and Ichiro's Bakuzo Cloptor trio was beaten, Masato put him to sleep, after which Keiko and Koda liked Ichiro concern. And when it, Hydorous and Pegatrix faced Bakuzon, they were badly in the lower nail, but luckily Exit and their Mantonoid partners also came to help them, and together they defeated Bakuzon. After that, it and other old acquaintances of the Awesome Ones encountered Tiko and his Bakuzon army while defending the Great Core Cell, but during the battle, Tiko infected the V Virus with the Great Core Cell. And when Dan and Drago arrived on the scene, they too joined the battle, when Drago fought Tiko as Dragonoid Maximus. And even if it and the Mantoid force lost, Drago and the other Bakugans eventually managed to defeat Tiko, destroy the V-Virus, and save both Earth and Vestroia. Later in Bakugan: Armored Alliance, Serpenteze continued the fight with Masato as Everett Ray lured Masato and Shun into the trap of Battle Island so McQ could rob the Kazami International Holdings, but luckily Masato and Shun found out and set out to stop McQ. During the battle, they were on the lower nail against McQ and his minions, but Shun combined Hydrous and Trhyno into Hydorous X Aquos, for before Shun and Masato set out to stop McQ, Shun brought Trhyno to help in the battle. And eventually Serpenteze and Hydorous X Aquos defeated McQ and his minions, after which McQ and his minions retreated in rage.
