Shadow Ring is a supporting character of the manga, webcomic and anime series One Punch Man. She is the A-Class rank 32 hero of the Hero Association.
Appearance[]
Shadow Ring is a woman of short height that wears the classic ninja outfit that consist of a black cloth wrapped around her entire body and a white band on her forehead.
Without her ninja outfit she has black hairs tied in two pigtails tied with two shuriken and she wears a black eyemask.
Personality[]
Shadow Ring is shown to have a calm personality and was also higly impressed by her fellow ninja, Flashy Flash when she saw his speed and ninjutsu talent.
Background[]
Where she learned Ninjutsu has not been disclosed. Only that the village she learned is not the same as Flashy Flash's.
History[]
Shadow Ring was part of the support team of the Monster Association raiding. She fought along her teamates as she kills several monsters with her sword and shurikens. Throughout the fight a monster would appear from behind to and slice her body before revealing it to be an illusion as the Shadow Ring then beheads the monster with a clean cut. Flashy Flash compliments her by asking her which village she trained with responding that it was not the village that the majority of the S-Class hero trained. With the second wave of monster appearing, Rhino Wrester appears to be the first monster to attack the heroes with Shadow Ring’s attempt on damaging the monster gives effect with the monster stating it to be a 10 at a 100 point. Along with the other heroes being blowed away by the monster, Rhino Wrestler is then finished off by Atomic Samurai. She then observes Flashy Flash’s speed at at killing numerous monsters in the blink of an eye, stating that she couldn’t even at all see him. As the fight seem to be have ended with other hero trying to get Waganma to safety, Nyan is then spotted from far away, walking slowly toward the team. With the fight going horribly wrong for the hero team, as they Green and Strange Binding Shell tries to immobilize the monster who simply slipped out its body then lands several deadly attacks on both Shadow Ring and Feather before they couldn even react.
Abilities[]
As an A-Class that holds the rank 32 in the organization, she can be stated to be very powerful with her compliments from Flashy Flash, a S-Class hero. She was shown to be able to slash a monster’s head off with a clean cut and numerous others easily.
Enhanced Speed and Reflexes: Being a ninja, Shadow Ring has been shown to be very quick with her being able to trick a monster from behind her before having a wooden plank taking the place of her head and finish off the monster.
Body Replacement Technique: Shadow Ring can quickly replaces herself with a piece of wood tricking her enemies.

- Her body Body Replacement Technique is based on real life legends written with ninjas. "Kawarimi" which is a technique suppodsly used by ancient ninjas from Japan that easily mistakes their opponents by replacing their body with another object.
- The hero’s ninja outift is based on real life stagehands in Japan known as Kuroko.
