Shelley Darlingson is the main protagonist of the 2008 comedy film The House Bunny. She is a former Playboy bunny who later joined a group known as Zetas.

She is portrayed by Anna Faris, who also played April in The Hot Chick, Sam Sparks in the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs series, Jailbreak in The Emoji Movie, Rachel Johnson in Yogi Bear (2010 film), Jeanette in the Alvin and the Chipmunks movies, Cindy Campbell in the Scary Movie franchise, and Hannah Lewis in My Super Ex-Girlfriend.

Backstory[]

About 27 years ago, when she was a baby she was dropped of to an orphanage in a basket. She wasn't a popular girl, a lot of families came to the orphanage and every kid was adopted except for her. One day she changed and she was very liked and got pictures taken of her and ended up living in the Playboy mansion.

Personality[]

Shelley is light hearted woman who always showed support to her friends.

Biography[]

Life At the Playboy Mansion[]

Shelley was having a birthday party to celebrate her 27th birthday in the Playboy mansion. The next morning, She woke up and got a letter that says she has to move out immediately because she is now 27 years old (which is 59 in bunny years). Her friend Oliver packs up her things in her car before she drove off. Later, she was sitting in her car brushing her teeth until a cop shows up and tells her to get out her car. She accidentally tried to give the cop a blow job before she got sent to jail. She was released the next day before she follow 2 girls who were walking to a sorority house. She finds a girl named Ashley says she wants to live there. Ashley responds by saying she needs to ask to live here. She walks over to Mrs. Hagstrom if she can be a house mother. Mrs. Hagstrom rejects her question and Shelley leaves.

Joining the Zetas[]

Shelley walks over to a different sorority home known as Zeta. Shelley meets a girl named Natalie and offers to be their house mother. Natalie tells Shelley that their gonna lose thei home because they don't get pledges and everyone thought they were losers. Natalie rejects the offer and leaves her outside Joanne notices Shelley outside doing yoga infront of their sorority house attracting men. Natalie approved the attention their club got and decided to let her move in and that she can help them. Shelley begins a car wash to make money for their club before she met a guy named Oliver, he hands her a flyer to volunteer for Oliver's nursing home. They decided to go to a club and had drinks, a girl named Ashley walks up to them and tells them to sing for the karaoke competition which Shelley tells the girls to perform on stage. They performed on stage and found out that Ashley set them up and made horrible lyrics. Ashley brings a pig in the thei sorority house and planned to stop Ashley's club from trying to get rid of the Zetas. Shelley helps her friend by making them look pretty by shopping for nice clothes and got their hair done. They decided to make money by modeling for calender prints. Shelley and her friends goes to Oliver's nursing home and volunteered to help out the elderly.

Saving the Zetas[]

Later, Ashley brings a pig into their house and nearly deatroyed the house before Shelley takes her friends out shopping for nice clothes and new makeovers to make look beautiful and attractive. Shelley comes up with an idea to take photos of themselves and make calender prints to make money to help their club.

When her friends reunited after their downfall, Shelley and her friends manage to rushed over to the meeting. Shelley makes a touching statement about her feelings and her body. Afterwards, 30 women pledges for the Zetas as Shelley and her friends celebrate and that they can keep their sorority home.
