Sheriff Bronson Stone is a major character in Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated.

He is the sheriff of Crystal Cove, first name “Sheriff” took from his mother, Ruby Stone, and the boyfriend, then husband of Janet Nettles.

He is voiced by Patrick Warburton; who also voiced Ian in Open Season, Blag in The Wild, Kronk in The Emperor's New Groove, Joe Swanson in Family Guy, Wolf W. Wolf in Hoodwinked, Brock Samson in The Ventures Brothers and Buzz Lightyear from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. In young age, he is voiced by Troy Baker .

Appearance[]

Sheriff Stone is a tall, middle-aged man with a smooth black haircut, though one side is brown, and broad, strong shoulders. He has a black mustache under his nose and a broad jaw. He wears brown pants and a light brown uniform with a gold star, a black tie, brown shoes, and a western hat on his head.

Personality[]

Sheriff Brone Stone is often strict and harsh, because he believes he can solve the mysteries in Crystal Cove, but mostly to make money, since he does not require that the boys do his job, and that is precisely why he is often in conflict with the boys of Mystery Incorporated because he did not tolerate their situation and passion for solving the cases, especially on Scooby-Doo, who always sees him badly. In the end, however, it is revealed that he truly cares about them.

He always has an emphasis on the pronunciation of "Bronson" and fears cicadas.

His problem is that he is very stubborn and wants to do only his own thing, which sometimes, he also realizes, leads him into trouble and disaster, as due to the fact that he is a bit selfish and incompetent, all the inhabitants of Crystal Cove had become slaves because of Professor Pericles. He can be reasonable and altruistic though, even romantic, since even though he didn't get along with his colleague Janet Nettles at first, love blossoms between them in the end.

His rules about the kids not getting involved in business that doesn't concern them, came from the fact that he agreed with the mayor, Fred Jones, Sr. When he finds out the truth about him, he is quite shocked. He is usually pessimistic, but in the new timeline he is optimistic.
