Sherlock Bones is the main protagonist of Renée Treml's Australian novel of the same name. He is an anthropomorphic Tawny-Frogmouth skeleton, who resides in a museum in Brisbane, fights crime and solves anything that terrorizes the museum.
Physical Appearance[]
Sherlock Bones is an anthropomorphic Tawny-Frogmouth skeleton, with white colored bones, gray sclera, and black pupils. he also has a small tail, and a narrow beak.
Personality[]
As a detective, Bones is fearless and brave (albeit he's timid of monsters and ghosts, which was mentioned in the books), but also generous towards his assistants. He's seems more solitary during the third novel, saying that other than Watts (a blue Rose-tailed Parakeet Russian doll), and Grace (an anthropomorphic Northern raccoon), he needs no help from others.
