Serafetting, better known as Shero, is the titular main protagonist of the 2016 Turkish adult animated film Bad Cat, as well as the comic series of the same name. He is a short-tempered tabby cat who is obsessed with drinking booze, smoking and sex.
He was voiced by Uğur Yücel in Turkish, Don Battee in English and Takaya Kuroda in the Japanese dub.
Appearance[]
Shero is a yellow tabby cat with black stripes and sharp teeth and claws. His face is roundish with long eyebrows and a short, freshly shaved beard, and brown eyes (portrayed as hazel and yellow in some comics).
Personality[]
Shero is typically very arrogant, ignorant, nymphomaniac, and obnoxious. However, as the film progresses, his hard shell breaks and the goodness deep within his heart begins to emerge. Things like his love for Misscat, his love for his son, and the loyalty of his friends begin to reveal this side of him. Although he eventually opened up a little at the end of the movie, it seems that Shero still prefers to keep this soft side to himself.

Blacky tries to explain that it was an accident, but Cartoonist throws his scissors into his chest, killing him. Seeing Blacky get killed, he then gets into a fight with Cartoonist, and they fall out of a window. Cartoonist lands on the pavement hard, blowing his brain out, while Shero safely lands on his feet (as he is a cat) and walks away from Cartoonist's corpse.

On the way, he steals fish from Hazel's house and meets up with Rifki and Riza and informs them of Blacky's death, while frying the fish. He finds out that they didn't get drinks and storms inside searching some alcohol and finds out that Tank has drunk all the booze. The two get into an argument, after which Tank puts his foot down and back kicks Shero out of the apartment.

After Taco frees him, Shero fights Cartoonist and throws him off the building and into a dumpster, along with the dogs. Despite this, Shero doesn't give Taco a second glance. Taco says he used to have a mom named Mimosa, whom Shero can't seem to remember, but tells Taco to leave him alone and go back to her. Taco angrily reveals that his mom was killed via getting hit by a car and storms off. Misscat scolds Shero for not listening to Taco, who suddenly appears and punches Shero. After a long underwater fight between Shero and Cartoonist, the cat kills his attacker once more and climbs to land, much to Taco's joy. Tank and Shero get into an argument, but Rifki break up their argument and shows to them some money, but Hazel unexpectedly take most of them and for gratitude gives a last dollar and returns them the apartment.
On this occasion, Shero's friends arranged a party, but their party disturbed the return of Cartoonist, who kidnapped Misscat and threatens to blow up the cylinders, which would kill everyone, including himself. Shero attacks Cartoonist and it comes to the final battle, to which Tank joins in and together fight with Cartoonist. After a fierce battle, Cartoonist lands in a dumpster and gets crushed to death by Semi's cylinders. Shero smokes a cigarette and flicks it in the dumpster, causing it to explode, creating a massive fireworks show, and finally killing Cartoonist, ending his insane reign of terror. Shero and Misscat watch the fireworks, and then confess their love for each other. They then have sex and bounce around the globe while lighting themselves on fire (this game was introduced as more like cartoon than real).
Skills[]
Enhanced Strength: Shero has much superior strength than a normal cat. He can easily knock down animals twice his size on his own.
Enhanced Durabilty: Shero is very durable. Despite all the hard blows he received when the Cartoonist attacked him with his men, he was able to remain conscious for a long time and woke up in a very short time even after fainting.
Enhanced Reflexes: As seen in the movie, Shero can quickly jump from balcony to balcony by performing several parkour maneuvers, even with one hand full.
Enhanced Sense of Smell: Obviously, being a cat, he has a keen sense of smell. He can clearly smell the fish two floors below from the terrace.
Enhanced Hearing: Thanks to his cat ears, he can hear even sounds from far away and determines his next move accordingly.
Expert Hand-to-Hand Combat: Shero is very good at fighting. He stands out tactically in most fights he gets involved in and uses his skills effectively. And he's also thought to know a little bit of martial arts.
Trivia[]
- In the movie Shero was introduced as more kind character in contrast to his character in the comics. An example of this is when Shero attempts to seduce Princess. In the film, he made suggestive remarks and even implies that he would've backed off if she said no. In the comics, both Shero and (presumably) Blacky gang rape and kill her.
- He is named after the creator's cat who died in 1996.
